Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Q.A.I. Airport – Amman (D)
Meet, assist & transfer from Queen Alia Intl Airport to Amman. Tour the city of Amman. Start with the downtown area, the oldest part of Amman, which is crowned by the Citadel, which offers a panoramic view of the whole city. Here one can also see the ancient ruins of the Temple of Hercules that dates back to (AD 161 – 180), the Byzantine Church, the fascinating Archaeological Museum which houses an excellent collection of the antiquities of Jordan. At the foot of the Citadel is the 2nd century AD Roman Theater, still used today for cultural events. Visit the old Bazars and have a drive in the modern Western side of Amman. Dinner in an oriental restaurant in Amman. Overnight in Amman
Day 2: Amman – Madaba – Mount Nebo – Baptism Site – Dead sea (B, L, D)
After breakfast, drive to Madaba, home of the most famous Byzantine mosaics. Visit the greatest and most significant of all the city’s treasures, the wonderful mosaic map of ancient Palestine, which is located on the floor of the Greek Orthodox Church of St. George.
Proceed to Mount Nebo, which dates back to the time of the Prophet Moses, around the 12th century BC. It is believed to be the site of the Prophet’s burial place and the point from where he viewed the "Promised Land". Lunch in a local restaurant in Madaba.
Descend from Mount Nebo to Bethany, the Baptism site at el-Kharrar Valley, where Jesus Christ was baptized. Finally proceed to the Dead Sea, the lowest spot on earth -394 meters below sea level- for swimming in its salty waters. The Dead Sea known for its high salt content will enable you to float without exerting any effort. Enjoy the romantic sunset view at the Dead Sea before having the dinner. (Spa treatment as an optional activity) Dinner & Overnight in the Dead Sea.
Day 3: Dead sea – Petra (B, D)
After an early breakfast, drive to the rose-red city of Petra along the Desert Highway. Explore the Nabatean city of Petra. The tour starts on horseback, passing by the Obelisk Tomb and then proceeding on foot through the Siq -the narrow gorge that leads to Petra’s most impressive monument, the Treasury. Then on to the Street of Facades, the Theater, the Royal Tombs, the Colonnaded Street, the Byzantine Church, the Temple, the Monumental Arch and Qasr el-Bint Faroun.
In the afternoon, climb up to the gigantic 1st century AD monument of the High Place of Scrifice (El Madbah) Dinner & Overnight in Petra.
Day 4: Petra – Q.A.I. Airport (B)
After breakfast, transfer to Queen Alia Intenational Airport for departure.

- Accommodation in the above mentioned five or four star hotels on H/B basis except for the first day on B/B basis

- Entry visa (for 5 pax and above visa is free of charge) for less than 5 pax visa will cost ($15.00) per pax

All the above prices are quoted per person in sharing double or triple occupancy and in U.S. Dollar. The above offer is valid till the 31st of October 2007. The current applicable taxes and services charges which are included in the above rates are: 10 % Government Tax & 10% Service Charge. Should the Government increase the tax, we will be obliged to increase the rates accordingly. Its worth to mention that the Government may increase the Tax without prior notice.
Transportation is as follows:
- 2 pax, are provided with a 4-seater car
- 3 – 6 pax, are provided with a 6-seater van
- 7 & 9 pax, are provided with a 10-seater van
- Minimum 10 & 15 pax, are provided with a 20-seater mini bus
- Minimum 20 & 25 pax, are provided with a 30-seater bus
- Minimum 30 pax onwards, are provided with a 49-seater bus
Should you wish to change the size of the van/bus due to extra luggage with the group, please advise so that we can update you with the applicable supplement.
In general, a tip for the guide is about $3 per person per day. As for the driver it is about $2 per person per day. Tip for the restaurant is about $1 per person. Tip for the horse-boy in Petra $3
