Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: At your arrival at Lima International Airport, You will be met by one of our Representatives and driven to your hotel in Miraflores.
Day 2: Am. After breakfast, we will take you to visit the Pre-Incas ruins at Pachacamac, to the south of the city. This site, which contains a number of pyramids, was considered one of the most important religious monuments by the indigenous people of the central Andes. It is interesting to see how these different cultures adapted to the conditions here, unlike in the mountains, most of the buildings (even on a very large scale) are made from mud-bricks. (03 ½ hours). Afternoon, you will be driven from your hotel to the airport for flight to Arequipa. Pm. Arrival at Arequipa Airport, transfer to your hotel. B
Day 3: Free day to get used to altitude. Arequipa is a beautiful city surrounded by mountains. Its many of the colonial buildings are built of "sillon" - a white volcanic rock - hence the nickname "the white city". The most visited site is the onasterio de Santa Catalina, a convent that is a city within the city. B
Day 4: Colca Valley. Am. Our English speaking Guide will pick you up from your Hotel to start our adventure to Colca Valley, on the way we will pass through Pampa Cañahua Reserve where Vicuñas, Alpacas & Llamas can be seen. Free afternoon to relax in the thermal Waters.
Pm. Overnight in Chivay. B / L / D
Day 5: Colca Canyon & Condors. Am. After Breakfast, we go to The Cross of The Condor to see this most majestic Bird. Then we continue our way visiting some native villages & Pre-Inca Tombs. Afternoon, we drive back to Arequipa. B / L
Day 6: Flight Arequipa Juliaca (Puno). Am. Transfer from your hotel to the Airport for a short flight to Juliaca. Am. Arrival at Juliaca Airport and transfer to your hotel in Puno. B
Day 7: Lake Titicaca. Am. After Breakfast, we board our motor boat on the highest navigable Lake in the world, our first stop will be on the floating Totora reed Islands of Uros, we continue to Taquile Islands where we will learn more about Pre-Inca culture. Overnight in Puno. B
Day 8: First Class Train journey Cusco Puno (Only Mon, Wed and Sat). Am. Transfer from your hotel to the train station to take the Andes Train to Cusco. Today you will have the most spectacular views of the Mountains & countryside, through the high Altiplano region.
Pm. Arrival in Cusco & transfer to your hotel. B / L
Day 9: 14:00 Guided tour of Cusco. Our expert guide will make sure you get the most of these special places: Sacsayhuaman, with its massive walls, Qenko, site of carved living rock, Puca Pucara, an Inca lodging Site & Tambo Machay, known as the Baths of the Inca. B
Day 10: The Sacred Valley of the Incas (Only Sun, Tue and Thu). Am. Today, we will pass through the Sacred Valley of the Incas, visiting the famous Indian Market of Pisac, Villages & Ollantaytambo Fortress, an incredible Royal Inca site. Pm. Overnight in Cusco. B / L
Day 11: Guided Tour of Machu Picchu, the lost Inca’s city. Am. Transfer from your hotel to the Train Station & departure to Machu Picchu) Guided tour of the most amazing & mysterious of all Inca Sites. Afternoon, Train back to Cusco. Arrival in Cusco & transfer to your Hotel. B
Day 12: Flight Cusco Lima. Am. Transfer from your hotel to Cusco airport & departure to Lima. B
