Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Lima. At your arrival at Lima airport (at any time), you will be met by one of our representatives and driven to your hotel in Miraflores, the safest and nicest area of the city.
Day 2: Tourist bus journey Lima - Pisco (04 Hours). Morning: Transfer from your Hotel to the tourist bus terminal for bus journey to Pisco. Afternoon: Arrival in Pisco & transfer to your Hotel. B
Day 3: Boat trip to Ballestas Islands. Morning: Boat trip to Ballestas Islands, where you will be able to enjoy the Sea Lions, Penguins and thousands of sea birds flying around the islands. Afternoon: Tourist bus Journey from Pisco to Nasca. Evening: Arrival in Nasca & transfer to your Hotel. B
Day 4: Flight over Nasca Lines (35 minutes). Morning: Flight over the fantastic Nasca Lines for panoramic views of a monkey, a fish, a spider, a hummingbird and many drawings and geometric figures on the desert visible only from the air. The mystery of these huge figures in the desert continues even today. Evening: Overnight tourist bus journey Nasca - Arequipa (09 hours). B
Day 5: Arequipa - day to relax and acclimatize to the altitude (7,626 ft). Morning: Arrival in Arequipa and transfer to your hotel. Today you will explore the beautiful colonial city of Arequipa that is surrounded by spectacular snow-covered mountains. The colonial buildings are built of "sillon" - a white volcanic rock - hence the nickname "the white city". Your hotel is located within walking distance from Plaza de Armas and Santa Catalina Monastery (a city within a city) so you can easily explore the best parts of the city on your own. B
Day 6: Colca Canyon. Our English speaking Guide will pick you up from your Hotel in Arequipa to start your tour of the Colca Valley and Canyon. Colca Canyon is ten thousand feet deep. This is twice as deep as the Grand Canyon in Arizona. At the bottom lies the champagne colored Colca River and the top consists of snow-covered mountains. On the way we will pass through Pampa Cañahua Reserve where Vicuñas, Alpacas & Llamas can be seen. Afternoon: you are free to relax in the refreshing thermal waters. Overnight in Chivay (11,800 ft). Day 7: Condors-Arequipa. Am. After Breakfast, we go to the Cross of The Condor to see this most majestic Bird. Then we continue our way visiting some native villages & Pre-Inca Tombs. Afternoon: journey back to Arequipa with spectacular views of the Sabancaya & Ampato Volcanoes. We may be lucky and have snow! Evening and Overnight in Arequipa. B / L
Day 8: Tourist bus journey Arequipa Puno (06 hours). Morning: Transfer from your Hotel to the Tourist bus station for journey to Puno. Afternoon: Arrival in Puno & transfer to your Hotel. Puno (12,550 ft). B
Day 9: Lake Titicaca & Overnight on Amantani Island. Morning: After Breakfast, we board our motor boat on the highest navigable Lake in the world, our first stop will be on the floating Totora reed Islands of Uros, we continue to Amantani Island where we will spend the night with a local family. Day 10: Taquile Island - Puno. Morning: We continue to Taquile Islands where we will learn more about Pre-Inca culture. Afternoon back to Puno. Evening: Overnight in Puno. B
Day 11: Tourist bus journey Puno Cusco (08 hours). Morning: Transfer from your Hotel to the tourist class bus station for departure to Cusco. Today you will appreciate spectacular views of the Andes Mountains & the countryside, through the high Altiplano region. Evening: Arrival in Cusco & transfer to your Hotel. Cusco (11,150 ft). B / L
Day 12: Guided tour of Cusco. Free morning to relax. 14:00 Guided tour of Cusco & visit to the four nearby Inca Ruins: Sacsayhuaman, with its massive walls, Qenko, site of carved living rock, Puca Pucara, an Inca lodging Site & Tambo Machay, known as the Baths of the Inca. Our expert guides will make sure you get the most of these special places. Overnight in Cusco. B
Day 13: The Sacred Valley of the Incas (Only Tue, Thu and Sun). Morning: Today, we will pass through the Sacred Valley, visiting the famous Indian Market of Pisac, native villages & Ollantaytambo Fortress, an incredible Royal Inca site where the Incas made one of their last stands against the Spanish. Evening: Overnight in the Valley of the Incas (9,100 ft). B / L
Day 14: Excursion to Machu Picchu, the lost city (8,200 ft). Morning: Transfer from your Hotel to Ollantaytambo train station & departure to Aguas Calientes (the base town of Machu Picchu). Short bus journey to Machu Picchu. In many ways today is the climax to your holiday. You will have a guided tour of the most amazing & mysterious of all Inca Sites. You will learn about the history of this site, who lived there, how it was discovered in modern times into the various features of the city and after that you will have some free time to really enjoy yourself alone in this spectacularly located site. This is an unforgettable experience that will stay with you forever. Afternoon: Free to relax in the Inca’s Hot springs. Overnight in Aguas Calientes (7,900 ft). B / L
Day 15: Train journey back to Cusco (11,150 ft). Morning Free. Optional: climb to Machu Picchu and Inti Punku, the Sun gate. Afternoon: Train journey back to Cusco. Arrival in Cusco & transfer to your Hotel. B
Day 16: Flight Cusco - Lima. Morning: Transfer from your Hotel to Cusco airport for flight to Lima. At your arrival at Lima Airport you will be transferred to your hotel in the bustling, cosmopolitan Miraflores area of the city. Depending on flight times, you may be want to enjoy an evening meal overlooking the elegant Parque Kennedy, go shopping in Larco Mar (one of the most beautiful shopping centers in the world) located by the Pacific ocean; or you may wish take a stroll down the beach. B
Day 17: Lima Tour-International Departure. Am. After breakfast, we will drive you downtown into the city of the Kings; our English speaking guide will help you to get to know the Plaza de Armas, with the baroque cathedral, the Palacio de Gobierno (Governors Palace), the Archbishop's Palace with its big carved wooden balconies, and the convent of San Francisco, whose bright yellow facade covers a grisly secret. Underneath the convent lie extensive catacombs that served as the cemetery for the whole of Lima during the colonial period! Transfer at any time from your Hotel to the airport for your flight back home. (B)
