We will take you on a private tour, in our comfortable vehicle, around Wales visiting sites that you want to see with your own guide who will be flexible to your needs. We will arrange your accommodation to your specified standards and arrange a suitable route and itinerary. Your guide will be from Wales and it is company policy that all guides are welsh speaking.
Examples of the type of tour that you could do are as follows: Castle Tour: We will arrange your 4-day route and itinerary based around the castles of Wales. In simple terms we will visit the dominant castles of Wales, starting in south east Wales (if being picked up in London) and heading in a clockwise direction around Wales. We will stop at among others, Caerphilly, Cardiff, Castell Coch, Pembroke, Carreg Cennen, Harlech, Dolwyddelen, Caernarfon, Beaumaris, Conwy, Dolbadarn and Ruddlan Castles. We will arrange B&B accommodation in cottages throughout the journey and drop you off at your specified location at the end of your trip. We will also stop at other notable sites that will allow you to fully appreciate the beautiful unspoilt scenery that Wales has to offer. Ancestry Tour: We will arrange a weekend tour for you with an itinerary based on you visiting the places that your ancestors originated from in Wales. We will take you to the town and street of your family to give you a feeling of their upbringing. In addition we will take you to the best sites that that region has to offer. This may be mountains, beaches, museums, castles or important industrial heritage sites. Accommodation will be arranged for you at your desired standard. Mountain to Coast: Take a week to leisurely travel around the coast and mountains of Wales. Wales can boast the best unspoilt scenery in Western Europe with beautiful clean sandy beaches backed by some of the highest mountains in the UK. The diversity of environments in such a small country as Wales allows you to see all that there is a short space of time. We will take you to the summits of Snowdon and Pen-y-Fan, to the beaches on the Lleyn and Pembrokeshire, and to the cliffs and bays of Gower. Accommodation will vary between coastal cottages to mountain retreats. Activity Weekend: The first evening will be spent playing a quick round of golf in castle grounds before heading out into Cardiff for the night. The morning will be spent pot-holing. You will be kitted-out appropriately with hard hat and light before being taken through the cave systems of the area. After lunch you’ll be taken coasteering an ever increasing popular activity that will see you scramble up cliffs before jumping into the sea the other side (can be as much as 100 ft). In simple terms it’s getting from A to B in a straight line up and over and through anything that gets in the way. We will set up camp for the evening; dinner will be cooked for you while you enjoy a drink by the camp fire. The final day will be spent walking a couple of miles where you will see 6th Century Hermit Church, lily-ponds, coastal woodlands before ending up at what has been voted the best beach in Britain. Enjoy a couple hours chilling out or clay pigeon shooting before heading home aiming to arrive by 8:00 pm. Ultimately, the itinerary of the tour will be decided by you. A combination of the 4 tours listed above may be your preferred choice and this will be tailor made for you. Costs will be determined once itinerary is complete and will be payable once on the tour. Note: - If you are a small group (2-6 people) we are able to accommodate you in a private tour. - We offer tailor made tours over Wales for people who have an idea of where they want to go and what they want to see. Notes: Minimum deposit of £100 required.
