This is a tour where you will enjoy the beautiful Garden Route with its natural Forests and lake district, you will play golf , go Caving at Cango caves, ride an ostrich, absail down a mountain gorge and play more golf, drive over fantastic mountain passes that will leave you breathless.
Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Depart Cape Town 09:30 for Knysna via N2. Stop at Albertinia for a visit to Alcare (Aloe Products factory). Stop in Mosselbay for a visit to Diaz Museum and the Historic Post Office Tree. Arrive at 16:30 at Hotel/Knysna Terrace Guest house.
Day 2: 09:00 to 12:00 visit the Knysna Waterfront area and perhaps a walk though the shops along the main road (N2). Stop at Natures valley via the Groot River Pass (build by Thomas Bain) in the late 17 century. Visit the Knysna Elephant Sanctuary (you can feed Elephants by hand) and return to Knysna.
Day 3: Depart 09:00 for Port Elizabeth via N2. Continue to Tsitsikamma via Bloukrans Pass (build by T. Bain and follows a very beautiful route). Stop at Tsitsikamma National park and walk to the Storms River mouth. (will take about an hour inclusive of the return walk). Drive N2 short distance to Big Tree (800 yrs) and stop to view. Follow N2 to Port Elizabeth. Arrive 17:00 at Hotel/Guesthouse.
Day 4: Depart 11:00 to Shamwari Private Game Reserve. Arrive at 12:30.
13:00 Book in for Safari
14:00 lunch
15:00 Game Drive
19:30 Late Refreshments
Return to Port Elizabeth
Day 5: Depart 08:30 for Oudtshoorn. Stop at George Transport Museum see Royal Coach and much more. Arrive at Oudtshoorn visit the Cango caves. Book in at Guest House.
Day 6: Visit Cango Wildlife Ranch and Cango Ostrich show Farm. Depart for Cape Town via R62 to Barrydale, Montagu and Worchester to Capetown.
