It is possible to play Golf almost through out the country, often in extremely dramatic backgrounds and unusual settings such as Hills and High Himalayan plains, in the heart of bustling metropolitan cities, small obscure towns, by the side of lakes and forests, amidst tea, coffee or spice plantations or even out in the desert.
India was the first country outside of Great Britain to take up the game and The Royal Calcutta Golf Club came into existence in 1829.Golf had already been played in India for 59 years before the first major course was opened in the USA and Europe in 1888. By the end of the 19th century, India already had a dozen golf clubs. The environment of each course is unique in its culture and history, highlighting all that makes India a diverse destination. In fact, it would not be wrong to say that one of the best ways to experience India is through its golf courses and we take pleasure to offer our Tee off with regal tour.
