The Champlain Valley provides some of the best cycling in Vermont. Our self-guided tours are designed for those who want to strike out on their own without the constraints of a group tour. Your Biking Gourmet vacation will provide 6 days of leisurely biking along paved back roads on routes of 20 to 40 miles (or more, if you prefer).
Along the way you’ll explore Vermont’s charming villages, its picture-postcard farms, museums and spectacular scenery and perhaps enjoy a refreshing swim in the many lakes and swimming holes along the route. Upon your arrival, you’ll receive a personal review of your trip. You will also receive maps and detailed written directions. You’ll abandon your car at the first inn and pedal your way to each of the other inns, where you’ll find your luggage and an innkeeper waiting to pamper you.
You’ll stay in the best rooms at some of Vermont’s finest inns known for their innovative cuisine – because you deserve it. Accommodations are at Swift House Inn, Lilac Inn, Fox Creek Inn, Inn on Park Street, and Inn at Baldwin Creek.
