Near Ghorepani is Poon hill, one of the finest look-out points in the region. This trek does not reach any great altitudes, does not entail any particularly long walking days and there is always plenty to see. Ghandruk is a village where we visit the Annapurna Conservation Area Project.

Day 1: Trip commences in Kathmandu, introductions and formalities

Day 3: Drive to Pokhara

Day 4: Drive about an hour - trek start- Potana

Day 5: Landruk
Height: 16500m
Day 6: Ghandruk

Day 7: Tadapani
Height: 2200m
Day 8: Ghorepani
Height: 2855m
Day 9: Hike to Poon hill in the morning trek to Tirkhdhunga
Height: 1577m
Day 10: Birethanti drive to Pokhara
Day 11: Drive or fly to Kathmandu
Day 12: Day in Kathmandu - sightseeing/shopping/optional rock-climbing at Ballaju cliff
Day 13: Trip concludes in Kathmandu.

Extra hotel expenses, single room supplement where requested, any personal expenses (bottled soft drinks, telephone charges, video/camera fees, etc.), domestic and international airfares, medical costs (except medical attention given by trek leader), rescue charges, tips for crew (typically around NRp100 per trekking day), airport departure tax (currently NRp1100 for international destinations), Visas and visa extension costs, lunch and evening meals while in Kathmandu (except Namaste meal on first night)
