The park is noted to its wealth of birdlife to its wetland. Colorful kingfishers, sunbirds, waterfowl and bee-eaters are among them. More than 300 species are recorded.
Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Arusha National Park
You will depart early after breakfast with picnic lunch boxes for the Arusha National Park (37 km) and drive to the rim of Ngurdoto Crater and Momella Lake. You will have a game drive at the park and as an option you can choose to do a 3-4 hour walk in the park before starting the game drive. You will return late in the evening for dinner and overnight at Moivaro Coffee Plantation Lodge. Meal Plan (L) (D)
Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
You will depart for Tarangire National Park for a game drive in this very diverse park with picnic lunch boxes, Tarangire is well known for its large herds of Elephant population. You will proceed with the game drive until late afternoon when you will drive to Tarangire Sopa Lodge for dinner & overnight. Meal Plan (B) (L) (D)
Day 3: Tarangire – Ngorongoro Crater
You will depart for a game drive at the Ngorongoro Crater with picnic lunch boxes until late in the afternoon when you will proceed to Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge for dinner & overnight. Meal Plan (B) (L) (D)
Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater – Serengeti National Park
Early after breakfast you will drive to Serengeti National Park with picnic lunch boxes. You will have a game drive on route via the Olduvai Gorge until late in the afternoon when you will proceed to Serengeti Sopa Lodge for dinner & overnight. Meal Plan (B) (L) (D)
Day 5: Serengeti National Park - Arusha
You will have an early in the morning game drive at the Serengeti National Park and after breakfast you will drive back to Arusha with picnic lunch boxes. Meal Plan (B) (L)
