On clear days magnificent views of Mount Kilimanjaro can be seen from almost any part of the park. The vegetation and wildlife varies with the topography which ranges from forest to swamp. The park is famous for its 400 species of birdlife, both migrant and resident, including the pelicans and flamingo reside at the Momela Lakes and Ngurdoto crater.
Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
You will depart for Tarangire National Park for a game drive in this very diverse park with picnic lunch boxes, Tarangire is well known for its large herds of Elephant population. You will proceed with the game drive until late afternoon when you will drive to Tarangire Sopa Lodge for dinner & overnight. Meal Plan (L) (D)
Day 2: Tarangire - Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast you will drive to Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive at the park with picnic lunch boxes until late in the afternoon when you will drive back to Lake Manyara Serena Lodge for dinner and overnight. Meal Plan (B) (L) (D)
Day 3: Lake Manyara – Serengeti National Park
Early after breakfast you will drive to Serengeti National Park with picnic lunch boxes. You will have a game drive on route via the Olduvai Gorge until late in the afternoon when you will proceed to Serengeti Sopa Lodge for dinner & overnight. Meal Plan (B) (L) (D)
Day 4: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater
You will have an early in the morning game drive at the Serengeti National Park and after breakfast you will proceed to the Ngorongoro Crater with picnic lunch boxes. You will have an evening game drive at the crater before you proceed to Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge for dinner & overnight. Meal Plan (B) (L) (D)
Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater – Lake Eyasi
Early after breakfast you will have a full day game drive at the crater with picnic lunch boxes. Late in the afternoon you will drive to Lake Eyasi and proceed to the Lake Eyasi Campsite for dinner and overnight. Meal Plan (B) (L) (D)
Day 6: Lake Eyasi
Early after breakfast you will visit the Bushmen Village to see their daily activities and you can have an optional 3-4 hours hunting tour with the Bushmen. You will also be able to try local fishing methods before you drive to Lake Eyasi Campsite for dinner and overnight. Meal Plan (B) (L) (D)
Day 7: Arusha National Park
You will depart early after breakfast with picnic lunch boxes for the Arusha National Park (37 km) and drive to the rim of Ngurdoto Crater and Momella Lake. You will have a game drive at the park and as an option you can choose to do a 3-4 hour walk in the park before starting the game drive. You will return late in the evening to Arusha for overnight.
