Tour Itinerary: Day 1: Lake Baringo Depart Nairobi in the morning stopping en route to view the spectacular Great Rift Valley. Lunch at Nakuru. Proceed to Lake Baringo, a world famous bird sanctuary arriving late in the afternoon. This Lake is a spectacular sight with its islands (two of them inhabited). Boat trip to see the hippos and crocodiles. Dinner and overnight in the camp. Day 2: Lake Nakuru A 30Km drive south to the Spectacular Lake Bogoria with the Hot Springs and Geysers which are hot enough to boil an egg. Don't fall in! Lunch and then proceed to Lake Nakuru National Park famous for its bird life for a game drive on the shores of the lake. This is the home to millions of Flamingos and over 400 other species of bird life and you can explore on foot. Among other animals you will also find the rare Black Rhino in this Ornithologists’ paradise. Overnight in a camp. Day 3: Maasai Mara After breakfast we head south to Narok and into Maasai Mara Game Reserve by afternoon. Evening game drive followed by dinner and overnight camping. Days 4-5: Maasai Mara Two full days experiencing the Mara magic in the Kenya’s premier reserve that is an extension of Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. The Mara reserve is the most popular in Kenya and it owes this to the astounding concentration of game within the park all the year round with the Wildebeest migration mainly in July and August. A visit to the Maasai village or the spectacular ‘hot air balloon ride‘ can be arranged at an extra cost for those who are interested. Dinner and overnight camping Day 6: Nairobi Early morning game drive followed by breakfast at leisure before breaking camp and driving via Narok town where we stop to buy souvenirs or to have a cup of tea. Drive back to Nairobi arriving late afternoon. Drop off at your hotel. Notes:
