Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Nairobi/Amboseli
Morning drive to Amboseli Park at the foot of the snow capped Mt Kilimanjaro. Lunch then a gamedrive. Overnight at a lodge.
Day 2: Amboseli
Full day game drives. Here you view game with magnificent mountain in the background. Overnight at a lodge.
Day 3: Amboseli/Tree Hotel
After a early morning gamedrive we drive via Nairobi stopping over for lunch and then proceed to the Aberdares to an exciting Tree Hotel or lodge overlooking floodlit waterholes Overnight at Treetops Tree Hotel or The Ark
Day 4: Tree/Hotel/Samburu
Continue north across the equator to the Northern Frontier to enjoy the different scenery and wildlife including Grevy’s Zebra and Reticulated Giraffe. Lunch then a gamedrive. Overnight at a lodge.
Day 5: Samburu
Full day to enjoy the different scenery and wildlife including Grevy’s zebra and reticulated giraffe overnight at lodge.
Day 6: Samburu/Mt Kenya Safari club
Early gamedrive then drive to the Mt Kenya Safari Club to enjoy the facilities or take an optional tour to the nearby Sweetwaters Reserve or Mt Kenya. Overnight at Mt Kenya Safari Club or Sweetwaters Tented Camp. Morning drive via Nyahururu Falls down to Lake Bogoria. Later drive to the beautiful lake Baringo. Evening bird walk. Accommodation at Lake Baringo lodge.
Day 8: Baringo/Lake Nakuru
Morning boat ride on the lake. Lunch, then drive along the floor of the Rift Valley to Lake Nakuru where you can see millions of flamingoes and over 400 species of other birds. Evening gamedrive followed by dinner and overnight at a lodge.
Day 9: Nakuru/Maasai Mara
Morning drive across the Rift Valley down to the Maasai Mara. Lunch and later an afternoon gamedrive. Overnight at Lodge.
Days 10-11: Maasai Mara
Two full days experiencing the Mara magic in the Kenya’s premier reserve which is an extension of Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. The Mara reserve is the most popular in Kenya and it owes this to the astounding concentration of game within the park all the year round with the Wildebeest migration mainly in July and August. A visit to the Maasai village can be arranged at an extra cost for those who are interested. Overnight at lodge
Day 12: Maasai Mara/Nairobi
Early morning game drive then followed by breakfast at leisure. Return to Nairobi. Drop off at your hotel.
