When the trails of Nepal were opened after 1950's, Everest Base Camp became the premier goal for many adventurous walkers. This stunning trek visits both the base camp and KalaPatthar (5545m), a viewpoint recognized as the best point to see Mount Everest.

Your Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu. Meet and transfer to the Hotel.

Day 2: Cultural tour of Kathmandu and prepare for the Trek to Everest.

Day 3: Fly to Lukla (2800 m) for half an hour in the morning viewing great mountains. Lukla is the small town to start the trek. Trek to Phakding 2652 m. which will take approximately 2 hours.

Day 4: Trek to Namche Bazzar 3440 m. This day is longer than first day. Approximately it will take 5 hours and the last part is steep up of one good hour and from the uphill you can view the Everest for the first time. The weekend market with the local goods and Tibetan goods as well is the best attractions of Namche.

Day 5: Day to acclimatize in the Namche Bazzar. You will climb the hill near by the town which is 3800 m. where Everest View Hotel is situated and can be viewed the majestic mountains. In Namche there are two Museums where the activities, reports, great triumph over Everest are collected. Along with this the culture of the Sherpa peoples who are the Heros of mountains.

Day 6: Trek Namchebazzar to Tyangboche 3867 m. Tyangboche Monastery is very popular among the Everest climber where they get the bless from by the Head Monk of the Monastery for good luck and good wish.

Day 7: Trek to Dingboche 4530m. Gradually you are climbing to the higher points. You need to drink more water and walk slowly.

Day 8: Rest day in Dingboche for the acclimatization. Dingboche is another town in the valley in the lap of the mountains. From this town one trail leads towards the Chukung Valley in the base of the Island Peak. We will climb 300/400 m high mountain near the valley to acclimatize or can explore the valley.

Day 9: Trek to Lobuche 4930 m. Small part for an hour is steep after Thugla. On the top of this up there are the numbers of memorials of the brave climbers who lost their life in this region. Little walk after this steep up the trail from Gokyo Pass one popular pass from Gokyo lake to Everest Base Camp meets.

Day 10: Trek Lobuche to Gorakshep 5288 m. There are few lodges and it will take approximately 3 hours. There are the glaciers and crains and the trail is so excited coming closer to the Highest point on earth.

Day 11: Early in the morning climb up to Kalapatthar 5545 m. to view the Mt. Everest and other mountains. The view of the Mt. Everest , Everest Base Camp, Lhotse, Nuptse, Pumori and other Tibetan peaks with Khumbu Glaciers and ice fall are excellent. Climb down to the Gorakshep and after breakfast trek back to Pheriche.

Day 12: Trek back to Tengboche.

Day 13: Trek to Monju passing Namchebazzar.

Day 14: Trek Monju to Lukla.

Day 15: Fly Back to Kathmandu. Overnight stay in the Hotel.

Day 16: Tour End. Transfer to the Airport for Departure or enjoy on your own time as you want.

Notes: The flight in Lukla depends upon weather. In March, April, May, September, October November the weather is more clear so the flights reliable. But for all season and months it is suggested to have at least 1 Day extra in Kathmandu after Trek. Everest Base Camp Trek is difficult graded Trek so need to be physically fit and need to be well equipped.
