You'll visit the picturesque 125-square-mile Lake Manyara National Park, which boasts five distinct landscapes such as forest, grassland, marshland, scrub and open plains—resulting in a great diversity of wildlife concentrated in a small area, mostly year-round. You might catch a glimpse of the area's famous tree-climbing lions, who sprawl lazily over the branches of acacia trees. Bird lovers will delight in an abundance of viewing opportunities—including more than 40 varieties of birds of prey. The
Ngorongoro Crater, which offers abundant year-round game viewing…and the Serengeti, a World Heritage Site that translates to "endless plains" in the Masai language.
