This incredible itinerary combines Chobe National park famed for its huge heard of elephants and the incredible wildlife of the world famous Okavango Delta. The Delta is one of the natural wonders of Africa combine that with incredible hosts and unbelievable accommodation. A wide variety of activities are available such as tiger fishing, boating on the river, canoeing, and even white-water rafting. DAY BY DAY ITINERARY
Day 1: Arrive Maun and fly to Chobe National Park
Arrive at Maun airport. Transfer to the lodge situated on the banks of the Chobe River in the Chobe National Park. Afternoon game activity – Chobe National Park is most noted for its very large herds of elephant but there are also good populations of zebra, giraffe, buffalo, antelope as well as the predators. Dinner at the lodge.
Chobe Game Lodge or Chobe Savanna Lodge (D)
Chobe Game Lodge is privileged to be the only permanent lodge within the Chobe National Park – home to 45,000 elephant. Activities at Chobe Game Lodge are diverse and interesting, in addition to game drives in 4X4 vehicle in the Chobe National Park and water borne game viewing from private boats, there are also guided walks and fishing excursions. Accommodation consists of 50 twin bedded rooms, all with en-suite and full bathroom, air-conditioner and ceiling fan. Other facilities also include a swimming pool, lounge, dining room and cocktail bar overlooking the ever-changing Chobe River.
Day 2: Chobe National Park. Morning and afternoon activities.

Days 3-4: Chobe National Park – Savute
Transfer to Kasane airport for the light aircraft transfer (luggage 20 kg in soft bags) to the lodge, located in the western section of the Chobe National Park. Afternoon game drive - the area has a large wildlife resource with a wide variety of species. The reed and papyrus swamps are ideal for numerous and diverse species of birds and are a magnet for game in the dry winter months. Return to the camp for dinner. You two night stay here includes morning and afternoon game activities.
Savute Safari Lodge. Included: (B, L, D).
In the heart of Botswana’s Chobe National Park lies a dynamic wilderness a sweeping expanse of savanna, a relic marsh and the dry channel that was once its lifeline. Game viewing concentrates on Savute’s resident bull elephants, antelope and lion prides while jackal, bat-eared foxes, kudu, impala as well as ostrich abound. Savute Safari Lodge peers out from ancient Camelthorn trees on the shore of the channel. The lounge, library and cocktail bar are situated in the main building where an upstairs viewing deck offers enchanting sunsets, while a large fireplace downstairs is equally inviting on winter nights. Exclusive accommodation is provided in 12 tastefully furnished twin bedded safari suites.
Day 5: Savute – Okavango Delta
Morning game activity and breakfast before the light aircraft transfer to the camp within the Okavango Delta. Afternoon activity and dinner at the camp. Your two night stay includes morning and afternoon game activities.
Camp Okavango or Camp Moremi or Xugana Island Lodge (B, L, D)
Camp Okavango is situated on the remote Nxaragha Island in the heart of the permanent Okavango Delta, assuring a year-round water wilderness experience. Game activities include exploring the Okavango by canoe and rivercraft as well as guided walks to afford the opportunity to track some of the larger species that inhabit this water wilderness. Accommodation is in East African style tents – the tents are on raised wooden platforms and have their own private patio.
Day 6: Moremi Wildlife Reserve. Morning and afternoon game activities with time in between to relax. Camp Okavango. Included: (B, L, D).
Day 7: Depart - Maun
After the game activity and breakfast, depart by plane for Maun airport or you may extend your safari adventure to Victoria Falls. Included: (B).
