DAY BY DAY ITINERARY
Day 01: Livingstone / Victoria Falls - Chobe Game Reserve
Arrive at Johannesburg’s O.R Tambo International Airport and connect with the flight to Livingstone / Victoria Falls. Transfer by road and boat across the border into Botswana to the camp situated on the remote western side of the Chobe National Park. Afternoon game activity (drive or cruise) - Chobe National Park is most noted for its very large herds of elephant but there are also good populations of zebra, giraffe, buffalo, antelope as well as the predators. Dinner at the lodge.
ACCOMMODATION: MUCHENJE SAFARI LODGE (lunch, dinner)
The only lodge situated on the western side of the Chobe National Park, Muchenje Safari Lodge offers a very private, unspoilt game viewing experience. Game viewing options include early morning, late morning, afternoon and full day game drives, game viewing on the river, walking safaris and night drives. Accommodation consists of 11 en-suite rooms affording panoramic views of the floodplain. The elegant central lodge incorporates a dining area, bar and a viewing deck with a natural swimming pool beyond.
Day 02 & 03: Chobe Game Lodge
Morning and afternoon activities (game drives, game cruises, walking safaris, night drives, cultural excursion to a nearby village).

Day 04: Moremi Wildlife Reserve
After breakfast, transfer to Kasane Airport for the light aircraft transfer with to the camp situated in Moremi Game Reserve arriving in time for lunch (luggage restricted to 20 kg per person in soft bags). Afternoon game activity followed by dinner at the camp.
ACCOMMODATION: XAKANAXA CAMP (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
Nestling on the banks of the Khwai River overlooking the Xakanaxa Lagoon lies Xakanxa Camp with its authentic bush ambience. The biodiversity endows the Camp with a year round land and water experience and all the big game and antelope species as well as most of Botswana’s 550 bird species are resident or migrants. Accommodation is in 12 spacious and tastefully furnished safari tents with en-suite facilities. Set on elevated platforms, each tent has a private viewing deck with loungers. Lodge facilities include elevated dining room, lounge/library, plunge pool and curio shop.
Day 05 & 06: Moremi Wildlife Reserve
Morning and afternoon game activities.
ACCOMMODATION: XAKANAXA CAMP (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
Day 07: Central Kalahari
After the morning activity, transfer by light aircraft to the camp situated in the central Kalahari. Afternoon excursion followed by dinner at the lodge.
ACCOMMODATION: TAU PAN (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
The first permanent camp to be built in the Central Kalahari Game Reserve is situated on a sand ridge overlooking Tau Pan from which the camp takes its name. This raised location ensures stunning views of the both the permanent Tau Pan water hole and the endless Kalahari horizon. With due consideration to the fragility of the desert eco system, the entire camp relies upon solar generated power, waste water is treated and the palatable water then piped to water hole for animals, therefore ensuring no cross contamination to the surrounding ground water and soils. Accommodation consists of eight desert adapted rooms with thatched roves and insulated walls which maintain a constant temperature during the extremes of the desert summers and winters. Each room has a seating area, ceiling fan, double basins, inside and outside shower and WC. The main area consists of dining room, lounge and bar area, curio shop, a viewing deck and a swimming pool. Activities include game drives, day trips to wider regions of the Reserve such as Sunday Pan, Pipers Pan and Deception Valley and nature survival walks, accompanied by a San tracker and a professional guide.
Day 08: Central Kalahari
Morning and afternoon activities with time in between to relax.
ACCOMMODATION: TAU PAN (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
Day 09: Depart Kalahari
After the morning activity, transfer by light aircraft to Maun for the flight to Johannesburg and connect with the flight home. (Breakfast)

Airfare is not included in the tour price.
Safari ends in Victoria Falls. This safari also operates from Victoria Falls to Maun.
Private departures are possible, subject to vehicle and guide availability.
The upper age limit for this safari is 70 years, however, clients between the age of 70 and 75 years may be accepted provided that they produce a medical certificate stating that they are fit to travel. Minimum age limit is 12 years.
