Our open voucher program “Wheels & Vouchers FLEX“ gives you the freedom to individually design your own itinerary, to explore Costa Rica at your own pace and to decide on spot where to stay - choose from 147 hotels all over Costa Rica including the most popular areas Arenal Volcano, Monteverde, Manuel Antonio, etc. as well as some lesser known areas off the beaten track.
Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival in San José. Meet & Greet by our English-speaking representative and private transfer from the Intl. Airport to the pre-booked hotel where you will spend the first night. Today, you will also receive all your travel documents: Info kit with road map, hotel list with location and contact information, hotel vouchers as well as general information.
Day 2: Delivery of your 4x4 rental car directly to the hotel - then you are free to explore Costa Rica on your own. For each of the following nights you will receive a hotel voucher (open voucher) which you will have to hand in at the chosen hotels.
Last day: Drop off your rental car at the International Airport and departure flight (it is also possible to drop off the rental car at a San José hotel).
Beach Extension: Extend your stay to relax for a few days at the beach - without the rental car if you wish to cut down costs. Drop off your rental car at the beach hotel of your choice (for surcharges depending on drop off location please contact us!) and after a few relaxing days take a shuttle bus or inland flight back to San José. In most cases a last night in San José would then be necessary in order to be at the Intl. Airport in time for your departure flight. Please ask us - it will be a pleasure for us to send you a suggestion for a beach extension.
