This is a 2 day wild great wall trip that visitors seldom get to experience. Your own English speaking guide will transport you to a remote wild great wall where you will camp on and sleep the night and dine on freshly prepared food. In the morning you will awake refreshed, waiting for sun rising , having breakfast, and taking pictures . All this lunch , dinner will be supplied by the person I hired in the village at the foot of the great wall mountain .They will climb up at lunch or dinner time for us . You will see the great wall as it was, untouched and left as an archeological site for the favored few. There will be no children, litter, concession areas, vendors, rest rooms, or anything else that walks with you. Where I take you will be China majesty that is untypical. Only through the services of a bi-lingual hiker, organizer and guide could such a trip be accomplished.
Detail :
Day 1:
Pick-up from your hotel in Beijing at 8:30 AM OR earlier in the morning if you wish.
Drive 2.5 hours to village at the foot of the great wall Jiankou , walk 1 hour to the top of the mountain with the North beacon tower is , walk another 3 hours on the great wall pass about 8 beacon tower , experience the exciting scenery and hiking , taking pictures . we take a lot of pictures , every step forward will be a nice picture . we get to the lowest part of the great wall in the area which is called the upside down arrow .The famous site include the North tower , the small budala palace and the arrow . There are almost no people there and you can take a lot of pictures .it is lunch time . Our cookers in the village will wait us there and we will have well prepared lunch : mushroom with chicken , wild vegetables , eggs , rises and whatever you like we can ask at the beginning of the hiking . After lunch we go on hiking and taking pictures , there are more pictures waiting for you . another 3 sites are called 'heaven's ladder' , 'eagle fly upward' , 'Beijing's knot' , some parts of it is very steep and I prepare a rope to pretect us safely . you can take a lot of nice pictures . we will reach the Beijing ' knot and waiting for sun set , it is about 7 o'clock in the summer and 5 o'clock in the winter . we will camp on the 'Beijing's knot ' . Person in the village will cook nice dinner and send the dinner to us . we take the pictures of sunset . we can drink and play on the wild great wall , mily way is there with countless stars. Then we sleep . I will prepare all camping gears if you don't take one .
Day 2 :
We will get up at 4 :00 am in the summer time , or 6:00 am in the winter and waiting for the sun rising and taking most beautful picture . there are clouds seas offen on this part of the great wall . Then we will have nice breakfast ,( my people in the village will prepare this for us ). after breakfast we will go on hiking and taking pictures , we go slowly and taking picture and then we reached the nine window tower which is the bigger beacon tower in the area , it is about 10:00 am and we should start climbing down the hills , we walk another 2 hours to be back in the village , we have lunch in the trout valley where you can catch your own trout and we eat them either roasted or cooked . after that we drive anther 2 hours to be back in downtown , it will be about 3 pm then we will visit the forbidden city , you are able to take many pictures of the palaces about 600 years old .
we finish the trip at 5 or 6 pm and I drive you back to the hotel you live .
