The downward return trek becomes different from that of upward. It flows through one of the biggest forests of rhododendron found in - the world. If the month is right, the complete forest becomes a mixture of white and red blossoms of rhododendron.

The trek provides a challenging and rewarding way of seeing some of the large Himalayan peaks up close, as well as viewing the culture of villages in central Nepal.
