The area of Ghalekharka-Sikles is known as the ecological trek. Under the care of ACAP (Annapurna Conservation Area Project) the environment and culture in this newly opened area is being carefully preserved. You will visit traditional villages of the Gurung Ethnic group, sample the local dishes and perhaps have the chance to see some traditional dance performances such as the “Ghato” from Sikles. Superb views of Lamjung Himal and the Annapurna can also be had. This is a 7-day trek and suitable for the moderately fit. The above two treks may be combined for a wonderful 2 week trek. We also organize 1, 2 & 3 day treks. Best time for trekking: October to May.
Your Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive Kathmandu & Transfer to Hotel. Included: D.
Day 2: 7 hrs drive from Kathmandu- Pokhrara & Transfer to Hotel. Included: D.
Day 3: Pokhara-Kharpani 5 ½ hrs. Included: B, L, D.
Day 4: Kharpani- Ghalekharka 5 hrs. Included: B, L, D.
Day 5: Ghalekharka- Nyaulikharka 5 ½ hrs. Included: B, L, D.
Day 6: Nyaulikharka- Parche/Sikles 6 hrs. Included: B, L, D.
Day 7: Sikles-Chansu or Yangjakot 5 ½ hrs. Included: B, L, D.
Day 8: Chansu/Yangjakot-Kalikasthan 5 ½ hrs. Included: B, L, D.
Day 9: Kalikasthan-Pokhara 3 ½ hrs and 3 minutes fly-Kathmandu. Included: B, L, D.
Day 10: Final Departure. Included: B.
The cost includes:
- Airport Pick up and drop off
- Kathmandu hotel room & accommodation as per you're requested
- All land transfer as per given itinerary
- National Park conservation entry permits fees
- Accommodation and 3 meals a day while on the trek
- Fully escorted trek with fluent English speaking license holder local Sherpa Guide & necessary porters

The cost does not include:
- Nepal entry visa fee per person US$ 30 only
- Travel Insurance (this is a mandatory condition of booking)
- Domestic Airfare from Kathmandu to Pokhara or Pokhara to Kathmandu
- Medical evacuation in case of emergency

- All bar bill
- Items of personal nature i.e. Soft/hard drinks, tips etc.
