IMPORTANT INFORMATION - PLEASE READ
This is a small group adventure trip for ADULTS only where you will join other travellers from around the world. This is not a coach/hotel tour and tailor-made itineraries or car hire are NOT available. Trip is exclusively operated by OzXposure.

Get ready for some great hikes in Southern Australia and Tasmania. Explore the Blue Mountains, Grampians National Park, Cradle Mountain, Mount Atmos & Wine Glass Bay.

Our Travel Style:
You will be joining a small group of other like-minded international travelers. Our small group sizes really let you get off the beaten path and escape the crowds. With no more than 14 people on tour you’ll enjoy all the flexibility of traveling with a small group of adventurous, like minded individuals. With our flexible night stops we can alter our itinerary to take in more of what you want to see. Only possible with a small group of adventurous people from all over the world.

Our tours are designed for adults (18+). However, due to the nature of these tours, they tend to incorporate activities and nightlife that appeal to the young and young at heart. And don't worry about coming by yourself, you'll quickly make friends with other people who are as keen to see and experience Australia and New Zealand as you are.

Accommodation: Camping
Never Camped Before?... No worries. We supply everything needed for an easy camping experience. We use large 4 man tents on most of our tours with only 2 people to a tent so there’s loads of room. On some of our more remote tours we stay in permanent camps with comfortable hard top tents or in traditional Aussie Swags for a true outdoors experience.

We supply eskys (coolers), gas lights, stoves, tables and chairs, even plates, knives, forks and all other camp accessories.

Flexible Itineraries:
The itinerary shown is intended as a guide only indicating a typical itinerary & series of activities. While our intention is to adhere to the published day by day route, the itinerary, distance traveled, type of accommodation and available activities may vary due to group input, weather, road conditions & local restrictions. Early or late season treks can be affected by extreme weather.

Tour Description:

Our first day finds us hiking the famous giant staircase and the Jamison Valley in the Blue Mountains before catching the world’s steepest railway back to the top. We head south through the Great Dividing Ranges, crossing the mighty Murray River before hiking the trails of the Grampians National Park.

Explore the Great Ocean Road, one of the most scenic coastal stretches in the world, famed for dramatic rock formations, such as the Twelve Apostles. Visit London Bridge and Otway National Park before riding the trams, eating out at St Kilda or just relax in Melbourne. Here in Australia’s most cosmopolitan city, you’ll have plenty of time to appreciate this attractive city where you can sample a diverse range of international cuisine or catch a traditional Aussie rules football game.

Board your included morning flight to Tasmania before we transfer over to Cradle Mountain, the hiking Mecca of Tassie. The next few days find us doing day hikes at Cradle Mt, Tullah, Strahan and Lake St Clair before arriving in Hobart.

Come and visit the famous penal colony of Port Arthur and for those game enough, take a night ghost tour through the ruins. A hike at Mt Amos and Wine Glass Bay on the Freycinet Peninsula awaits you before heading to the night life at Launceston and your included flight back to the mainland.

We have 2 nights down at Wilson’s Promontory, where remote, rugged and beautiful back country hikes are on offer before heading north to the beach and relaxing at Lake's Entrance.
There is still time for a rugged half-day mountain bike ride thru the fire trails before interacting with the kangaroos on our last
night out of Sydney.
