Our Travel Style:
You will be joining a small group of other like-minded international travelers. Our small group sizes really let you get off the beaten path and escape the crowds. With no more than 25 people on tour you’ll enjoy all the flexibility of traveling with a small group of adventurous, like minded individuals. With our flexible nightstops we can alter our itinerary to take in more of what you want to see. Only possible with a small group of adventurous people from all over the world.

Our tours are designed for adults (18+). However, due to the nature of these tours, they tend to incorporate activities and nightlife that appeal to the young and young at heart. And don't worry about coming by yourself, you'll quickly make friends with other people who are as keen to see and experience Australia and New Zealand as you are.

Accommodation: Camping
Never Camped Before?... No worries. We supply everything needed for an easy camping experience. We use large 4 man tents on most of our tours with only 2 people to a tent so there’s loads of room. On some of our more remote tours we stay in permanent camps with comfortable hard top tents or in traditional Aussie Swags for a true outdoors experience. We supply eskys (coolers), gas lights, stoves, tables and chairs, even plates, knives, forks and all other camp accessories

Tour Itinerary:

Tour Description

Day 1: Broome to Windjana Gorge. After leaving Broome we stop briefly at Willare Bridge to gaze in awe at the size of this river and the amount of water that flows in the mighty Fitzroy River during the wet season, continuing on we leave the bitumen behind as we head for the Oscar Range and on to Tunnel Creek, a 750 metre tunnel that passes under the Napier range rich in bush-ranger history: just ask your guide for the true story. (Lunch & Dinner included).

Day 2: Windjana Gorge to Mt Barnett. After spending a few pleasant hours exploring Windjana Gorge with its abundance of freshwater crocodiles it’s time to hit the track again as we travel along the famous Gibb River road to Manning Gorge and to watch the sunset over the Barnett Range. (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner included).

Day 3: Gibb River Road & Gorges. A great day of swimming and hiking as we explore some of the Kimberley’s striking gorges - maybe Barnett, Manning, Adcock or Galvans depending on the time of year. Overnight bush camp. (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner included).

Day 4: Gibb River to El Questro. We continue along the rugged Gibb River Road, traveling through some ancient and spectacular country before crossing the Pentecost River and heading to the famous El Questro Station. We walk into the beautiful Cockburn Ranges for a swim under the waterfall at Emma Gorge before retiring for the night. (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner included).

Day 5: El Questro to Bungles Bungles. Today sit back and admire the awesome scenery of the Carr Boyd and Durack Ranges as we head to Turkey Creek. We take a challenging 4WD trip into the Bungle Bungle (Purnululu) National Park for sunset over the Osmond Ranges and our overnight camp. (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner included).

Day 6: Bungles Bungles National Park. We spend a full day exploring the unusual rock formations of the Bungle Bungles mastiff, visiting the unique Frog Hole, the breathtaking Echidna Chasm and the magnificent Cathedral Gorge. We have time for an optional scenic helicopter flight (at own expense) over the Bungles before heading to our overnight bush camp. (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner included).

Day 7: Bungles Bungles to Kununurra. This morning we engage 4WD to wind our way out of the Bungle-Bungles before heading to the capital of the North - Kununurra. This afternoon we explore Hidden Valley – just a stones throw from Kununurra township. Tonight you may have the luxury of a shower!! (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner included).

Day 8: Kununurra to Victoria River. This morning we drive out to Lake Argyle and the Ord River Dam. Time to take in the magnificent expanse of the largest man made lake in Australia. This afternoon we cross the border into the Northern Territory. Time permitting we may have a look in at the Keep River National Park before heading to our camp on the Victoria River. (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner included).

Day 9: Victoria River to Darwin. We begin our final leg this morning with the short leg to Katherine where we have a brief visit to Katherine (Nitmiluk) Gorge.
