Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Morning pick-up from Delhi and drive to Mandawa, heart of the Shekhawati region of Rajasthan, renowned for its frescoes and murals that have made the region famous as the "Open-Air Art Gallery of Rajasthan". Afternoon explore the frescoed havelis (mansions) of Mandawa like Chokhani, Ladia and Saraf Havelis and the Shiva temple with its rock crystal lingam. Overnight at hotel.

Day 2: Morning drive to the fortified city of Bikaner, located in true desert country and famous for the best riding camels in the world. Afternoon visit to 17th century Fort, within which are located red sandstone and ornate marble palaces, pavilions, temples and the armory. Also visit the Ganga Golden Museum. Overnight at hotel.

Day 3: Morning drive to Jaisalmer, the 12th century inhabited fort city famous for cobbled streets, strewn with carved palaces, havelis and temples and aptly called “The Museum City”. Afternoon walk towards the chattris (cenotaphs) and watch the sunset on the golden fort. Overnight at hotel.

Day 4: Morning visit the yellow sandstone Fort, Jain temple, Gadisar Tank, Folk Museum, Patwon-ki-Haveli, Salim Singh ki Haveli, Diwan Nathmal ki Haveli, Badal Vilas Palace and walk through narrow cobbled streets. Afternoon excursion to Village Sam, west of Jaisalmer, which is known for its sand dunes. Enjoy a Camel Ride on the dunes and witness the sunset over the desert. Return to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 5: Morning drive to Jodhpur, the blue-hued city of the warrior clan of Rathore Rajputs. Afternoon visit the imposing Mehrangarh Fort that overlooks the city, the marble memorial of Jaswant Thada and local bazaar. Overnight at hotel.

Day 6: Morning drive to Udaipur en route visiting the Jain Temples at Ranakpur known for their grand structures and exquisite sculptures. Continue drive to Udaipur and check into hotel. Evening boat ride on Lake Pichola. Overnight at hotel.

Day 7: Morning sightseeing tour of Udaipur city visiting the City Palace and Museum and Sahelion-ki-Bari (Garden of Maidens-of-Honour) and the local bazaar. Afternoon excursion to the nearby villages of Eklingji and Nagda. Eklingji is known for its complex of 108 temples and Nagda, known for its 10th century Sas-Bahu (mother-in-law daughter-in-law) temple. Overnight at hotel.

Day 8: Morning drive to Pushkar, one of the holiest of the Hindu Pilgrim centers. Located around the famous Lake, this holy town comprises a region of religion and philosophical thought. Later visit the lakes and temples. Overnight at hotel.

Day 9: Morning drive to Jaipur, the Land of Maharajahs and the capital of the State of Rajasthan. Afternoon tour the “Pink City” visiting the Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), Jantar Mantar Astronomical Observatory, the City Palace and the local bazaar. Overnight at hotel.

Day 10: Morning visit the Amber Fort. Enjoy an Elephant Ride to reach the Fort on the hilltop. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight at hotel.

Day 11: Morning drive to Agra en route visiting the abandoned Mughal City of Fatehpur Sikri. Drive on to Agra and visit the wonder of the world, the Taj Mahal. Overnight at hotel.

Day 12: Morning visit to the Agra Fort and the local bazaar. Later drive back to Delhi en route visiting Mughal Emperor Akbar’s Mausoleum at Sikandra. On arrival in Delhi transfer for onward journey.
