Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrive in Beijing
Arrive Beijing, the capital of China. Meet your guide upon arrival and be transferred to your deluxe hotel. (D)
Day 2: Beijing
Beijing Morning tour to Tian’anmen Square, located in the heart of the capital, and the Imperial Palace, known as the Forbidden City - one of the greatest feats of ancient Chinese architecture. Afternoon sightseeing includes Summer Palace - a former summer resort area of the royal family. A Peking Duck Dinner conclude your first day activities in China. (B-L-D)
Day 3: Beijing
Beijing Full day excursion to the Great Wall - the landmark of China. It is one of the most amazing feats of human labor - the only man-made construction on earth visible from outer space. Then, move on to visit the Ming Tombs (Chang Ling Tomb) area where is for deceased emperors of the Ming Dynasty. (B-L-D)
Day 4: Beijing-Xi’an
Take a morning flight to Xi’an, the great ancient capital and the eastern end of the Silk Road. City tour begins with a visit to the ancient City Wall which was built in 1370 A.D. Afternoon visit to Big Wild Goose Pagoda which was built in 652 A.D. It contains a large volume of Buddhist scriptures which were obtained from India by the eminent monk of Xuanzang. Attend a special Tang Dynasty Dinner and Show in the evening. (B-L-D)
Day 5: Xi’an
Xi'an full day excursion to the unparalleled highlight Terracotta Warriors at the Tomb of Qin Shi Huang, the first emperor in China. Added highlights are a visit to the Huaqing Hot Spring - a former resort area especially for the emperors and the royal family and a visit to Banpo Village - the remains of a neolithic village dating back 6,000 years. Primitive tools and household utensils are displayed in the Banpo Museum. (B-L-D)
Day 6: Xi’an-Chengdu
Take a morning flight to Chengdu, capital of Sichuan Province and a place known as "the Land of Abundance". City tour begins with Wu Hou Shrine and Du Fu's Thatched Cottage - home of a great poet of Tang Dynasty. (B-L-D)
Day 7: Chengdu
Pay a visit to the magnificent Sanxingdui Archaeological Museum. Visit the Precious Light Monastery in the afternoon. (B-L-D)
Day 8: Chengdu-Kunming
Fly to Kunming in the morning, the capital of Yunnan Province, known as the "Spring City" in China. Afternoon excursion to the Western Hill’s "Sleeping Beauties" and Black Dragon Pool. (B-L-D)
Day 9: Kunming
Kunming full day tour to the Stone Forest which is 89km east of Kunming and a 90 minute bus ride will take you there. You can appreciate not only the karst mountains, rivers, forests and caves, but also the local folklore of the Yi, Zhuang, Miao and Yao ethnic groups. (B-L-D)
Day 10: Kunming-Guiyang
Take a morning flight to Guiyang, the capital of Guizhou Province. It boasts charming mountain scenery and pleasant climate. Afternoon sightseeing Qianling Park (include Hongfu Temple) and the Guizhou Provincial Museum. (B-L-D)
Day 11: Guiyang
Guiyang day excursion to Huangguoshu Waterfall, which is the largest and most beautiful waterfall in Asia. It is 79 meters high and 81 meters wide. The amount of water varies in four seasons, taking numerous appearances. Visit the underground river cave - Dragon Palace Cave along the way. (B-L-D)
Day 12: Guiyang
Guiyang today, China will lift its veil as you pay a visit to the minority villages of the Miao people at Red Maple Lake. You may watch Miao people's singing and dancing, attend Dixi "Ground Opera". Enjoy a boat ride on Red Maple Lake. (B-L-D)
Day 13: Guiyang-Guangzhou
Take a morning flight to Guangzhou, the southern gateway to China. Sightseeing features the Memorial Hall of Dr.Sun Yat-sen, the Temple of Six Banyan Trees. Time permitting, visit the Yue Xiu Park and the Pearl River. (B-L-D)
Day 14: Return from Guangzhou
Be transferred to the airport and prepare for boarding on your homebound flight. (B)
