Now you too can experience the jungle safely and at a reasonable price. Indeed, there are many ways to visit the jungle: Traditional jungle tours last 4, 8 or 15 days and include transportation, stays in hut-style inns within Manu National Park, food, bilingual-naturalist guide and entrance to the park. The area is normally explored by boat and on foot. More adventurous travelers can add mountain biking and rafting to the agenda.
You could also visit a biologist's outpost and be guided by the very biologists doing research in the jungle. Or, join a tour organized and run by the local indigenous people, in order to improve their independence and economy while educating others about the beauty and importance of the jungle.
