We'll converge at Cochin to begin our journey into "God's Own Country". We'll drive through the lush green fields of Kerala to the Spice Village, nestled amongst groves of spice trees, tea and coffee plantations and begin our Ayurvedic experience. Enjoying the clear mountain air, we’ll explore the exotic flora and vibrant wildlife of the nearby lakes and tropical forests.
Then it’s down from the mountains to the dreamlike tranquility of Coconut Lagoon, set like a jewel in Kerala’s Backwaters and only reachable by boat. Here we’ll consult with the Ayurvedic physician and continue our program of massages. We’ll cruise on the Backwaters and explore the rustic village life.
We’ll complete our Ayurvedic treatments at Marari Beach, an idyllic resort, surrounded by coconut palms, opening to a dazzlingly blue ocean. We’ll relax and enjoy this fabulous stretch of soft sandy beach and explore local traditions and customs. Finally, we’ll return to Cochin, “the Queen of the Arabian Sea” for some leisurely sightseeing, shopping and preparations for our flights home.
