The head hunters of Nagaland are still proud to show the Skull preserved for years. The Apatanis of Arunachal Pradesh are the only people in India to use the fish and paddy cultivation system. We take you to the villages of Apatani, Nishi, Monpa, Sherdukpens, Adi and other many more tribes during this tour. Our tour takes you to the villages of head hunters living in Indian - Burma border. There are few houses where you can witness the House is half in India and half in Burma.

Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival in India. Met upon arrival and transfer to your hotel.

Day 2: Fly to Gauhati. Upon arrival drive to Bomdilla. Overnight at Siphyang Phong.

Day 3: Drive to Tawang via Shela Pass. Overnight at Tawang Inn, Tawang.

Day 4: Visit the Monastery and Nunneries.

Day 5: Drive to Dirang. Visit the Dzong of Dirang of the Mompa Tribes watching them working on the Water Mills.

Day 6: Drive to Bomdilla on the way visiting Sherdukpens Tribal village. Overnight at Siphyang Phong at Bomdilla.

Day 7: Morning visit of the Gompa and later on drive to Itanagar. Overnight at Arun Subansiri/Blue Pine at Itanagar.

Day 8: Drive to Zero on the way visiting the interesting Tribal group of Nishyis. Overnight at Hotel Blue Pine.

Day 9: Visit the Apatani villages in and around Zero.

Day 10: Drive to Daporizo on the way visiting the Hill Miris. Overnight at Dumporizo Circuite House.

Day 11: Drive to Along after visiting the Tagin Villages. Overnight at Holiday Cottage, Along.

Day 12: Visit of the Adi Galo and Minyong Tribal villages and drive to Passighat. Overnight at Hotel Oman, Passighat.

Day 13: Cross River Brahmaputra and drive to Dibrugarh. Overnight at Hotel East End, Dibrugarh.

Day 14: Drive to Longding. Overnight at Circuit House.

Day 15: Visit of Wancho Tribal Groups in Longding area.

Day 16: Drive to Lazu to see the Nocte Group and later on drive to Khonsa. Overnight at Circuite House.

Day 17: Drive to Sibsagar. Overnight at Hotel Siddharth, Sibsagar.

Day 18: Drive to Sangnuy to see the Lower Konyak Tribal Group and Angh's Palace. Later on drive to Mon. Visit the Mon village. Overnight at Helisha cottage, Mon.

Day 19: Visit of Longwa village of Lower Konyak Tribe, on International Border or India and Myanmar. Later on visit the Shanhah Chingnyu village, where still you might find the Human Skulls kept as a Head Hunting Memory of the Naga Group.

Day 20: Visit of Jakphang and Changlang village of the Upper Konyak Tribe. Later on drive to Dibrugarh.

Day 21: Fly to Delhi/Kolkata for international connection.

Day 22: Fly back to your home country.

To operate the tour to Nagaland we need a couple or minimum 4 persons.
