Here can be no tapestry of river life as fascinating and varied as the River Mekong. We pass from the vibrant French colonial port of Saigon, now called Ho Chi Minh City, through the vast Delta so rich in human life and endeavor, to travel along the main channel into the rich countryside of Cambodia.

Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Saigon. You will be met at Ho Chi Minh International Airport and transfer to the five star Riverside Renaissance Hotel, lunch and afternoon at leisure.

Day 2: Saigon. Sight seeing with city tour, lunch in restaurant and visit to the Cu Chi tunnels.

Day 3: My Tho. Transfer from hotel to the Orient Pandaw moored at My Tho (2.5 hours drive), lunch on board, cruise in afternoon with sight seeing and boat trip at Cai Be.

Day 4: Cai Be to Vinh Long. Visit the local markets by boat and continue to explore the backwaters visiting old houses and a brick factory.

Day 5: Chau Doc. Explore backwaters by local boat and visit this fascinating town.

Day 6: Phnom Penh. Tour museums, palaces and an optional visit to the Killing Fields. Great shopping and nightlife.

Day 7: Phnom Penh - Kampong Cham. Village stops to see weaving, monasteries, and local life.

Day 8: Wat Hanchey. Great panoramic view from this hill top temple.

Day 9: Kratie. French colonial decayed elegance in this forgotten riverine town.

Day 10: Dolphin watching boat trip. Continue upstream depending on water levels. Transfer to local boats to visit the unique Irrawaddy dolphin areas between Kratie and Stuc Treng.

Day 11: Kampong Cham. Tour this area by mini-bus visiting Khmer temples and the orphanage Pandaw passengers sponsor.

Day 12: Tonle river and lake. Explore the wet lands and floating villages with amazing bird life.

Day 13: Tonle Sap - Angkor. 100 mile lake crossing, followed with transfer to La Residence, your deluxe five star hotel in Siem Reap. Tour the principal monuments with an expert guide, includes lunch out, dinner at leisure.

Day 14: Angkor. Continue our tour of principal monuments including less visited outlying temples, includes lunch out, dinner at leisure.

Day 15: Departures. Transfer to Siem Reap International Airport for flights home, morning and lunch at leisure for afternoon flights.
