This safari will offer you some of the best unspoilt sceneries in Africa. Driving down the escarpment is a great experience before reaching Lake Nakuru past the rugged volcanic features in the countryside around Lake Elemetaita for Lake Nakuru for its wildlife including a sizeable number of rhinos. From Nakuru, we do a long drive past the extinct Mount Longonot as we find our way to the majestic Maasai Mara where big game and the Maasai are our focus.

Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Depart Nairobi in the morning for Samburu through the picturesque countryside that is dominated by Africa’s second highest mountain, Kenya. We will arrive in Samburu at lunch time. Settle down for lunch and then proceed for afternoon game drive in search of the “Big Five” and other rare game of this reserve. Back in the evening for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: An early game drive in pursuit of more game and birds of Samburu land. Breakfast is to be followed by an excursion in a neighbouring Samburu village for a traditional experience. Back for lunch and a rest then leave again in the afternoon for an evening game drive. Dinner and overnight at the camp.
Day 3: An early wake-up call for breakfast followed by an outward game drive on our way to Lake Nakuru arriving here in time for lunch. After lunch we now take this great opportunity to do our game drive to the camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: After breakfast and game drive, we leave Lake Nakuru for Lake Naivasha arriving here in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight at the camp.
Day 5: After an early breakfast, we leave for a walking safari in the Crater Lake where we will encounter game at a close range on foot. Back for lunch then depart Naivasha for Nairobi where this tour ends late in the evening.
Day 6: Leave Lake Naivasha for Maasai Mara in the morning. Our arrival in the Mara is at lunch time. We will leave the camp for an afternoon game drive in search of the big five and other wildlife. Back to the camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 7: An early wake up call for breakfast to be followed by a full day game in search of more wildlife and birds in the Mara. We will drive back to the camp in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 8: We will leave Maasai Mara today after breakfast for Nairobi where this tour ends in the afternoon.
