Collecting snow-falls early in the season, the slopes and peaks surrounding the ski resort of Saint-Gervais Mont-Blanc offer a soft, ideal relief for Ski-Mountaineering instruction, the authentic and convivial Ski. In a small group of six to eight skiers, managed by a Mountain Guide or a Ski Instructor, you will feel the pleasure of opening up the trail through forests and mountain pastures, far from the obstructed ski-runs. Your Mountain Guide or Ski Instructor will show you all the tricks and the techniques of Backcountry Skiing.
During this week-end, your Mountain Guide or Ski Instructor will learn you the main technics and tricks used in Ski Mountaineering :
- how to keep an economical pace, drink and eat steadily
- how to open up the route
- how to use for the best the specific equipment of Ski Mountaineering
- how to improve your skiing downhill technic
- how to take one's bearings
