The many thousands of weavers of Orissa, clustered in small communities throughout the state, create silk and cotton ikat fabrics that have an individuality of their own and are unrivaled in the world. Barapali and Atabira is famous for hand loom and power loom centers. Drive for Sonepur to visit sericulture farms and textile villages, who produces Bomkai type of sarees and dress materials. Continue drive for Baliguda en route visiting some of the tribal villages and colorful markets.

Drive for Bhubaneswar en route visiting hand loom centers at Khurda. Full day excursion trip to Konark and Puri and back en route visiting some handicraft centers and appliqué at Pipili. Proceed to bhubanswar en route visiting the colourful appliqué village of Pipili where you can see the colorful Orissan handicrafts and dhauli peace pagoda famous for the Ashokan rock edicts dating back to 2nd century B.C.

Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival at Bhubaneshwar. Transfer to hotel.

Day 2: Drive to Dhenkanal en route visiting the weaving village at Nuapatna. Overnight at Dhenkanal Palace.

Day 3: Drive to Bargarh. Overnight at hotel Ganpati.

Day 4: Visit the nearby villages famous for weaving. Drive to Balangir. Overnight at Balangir.

Day 5: Visit of the villages and drive to Keonjhar. Overnight at Keonjhar.

Day 6: Visit of the villages famous for Tussar weaving and drive to Bhubaneshwar.

Day 7: Departure transfer for onward connection.
