This sanctuary was constituted in the year 1941 for the protection of Wild Life, particularly one-horned rhinos, an animal threatened with extinction. Your Itinerary: Day 1: Arrival transfer to Hotel at Kolkata. Day 2: Drive to Basanti and board the boat to Sajnakhali. Afternoon at the Orientation center. Overnight at Forest Lodge. Day 3: Boating in the Creek to try a chance to see the Royal Bengal Tiger. Back to Basanti and drive to Kolkata. Board the train to New Jalpaigudi. Day 4: Upon arrival drive to Jaldapara Sanctuary.
