Tour Itinerary: Day 1: Lima. At your arrival at Lima airport, you will be met by one of our English-speaking representatives and driven to your hotel in Miraflores, the safest and nicest area of the city. Day 2: Flight Lima - Cusco. Transfer from your Hotel to the airport for flight to Cusco. Arrival at Cusco airport and transfer to your Hotel. Private guided city tour of Cusco and visit to the four nearby Inca Ruins: Sacsayhuaman, with its massive walls, Qenko, site of carved living rock, Puca Pucara, an Inca lodging Site and Tambo Machay, known as the Baths of the Inca. Our expert guides will make sure you get the most of these special places. Overnight in Cusco. Meals: (B) and (D). Day 3: Private Sacred Valley of the Incas Tour. Morning: today, we will pass through the Sacred Valley, visiting the famous Indian Market of Pisac, native villages and Ollantaytambo Fortress, an incredible Royal Inca site where the Incas made one of their last stands against the Spanish. Evening: overnight in the Valley of the Incas. All meals are included. Day 4: Excursion to Machu Picchu, the lost city. Morning: transfer from your Hotel to Ollantaytambo train station and departure to Aguas Calientes. Short bus journey to Machu Picchu. In many ways today is the climax to your holiday. You will have a guided tour of the most amazing and mysterious of all Inca Sites. You will learn about the history of this site, who lived there, how it was discovered in modern times and why the Spaniards never found it. You will have some insight into the various features of the city and after that you will have some free time to really enjoy yourself alone in this spectacularly located site. This is an unforgettable experience that will stay with you forever. Afternoon: Free to relax in the Inca’s Hot springs. Overnight in Aguas Calientes. All meals are included. Day 5: Train journey back to Cusco. Morning: Optional climb to Machu Picchu and Inti Punku, the Sun gate. Afternoon: Train journey back to Cusco. Arrival in Cusco and transfer to your Hotel. Meals: (B). Day 6: Flight Cusco - Lima. Morning: Transfer from your Hotel to Cusco airport for flight to Lima. Arrival at Lima Airport and private transfer to your hotel in the bustling, cosmopolitan Miraflores area of the city. Depending on flight times, you may be want to enjoy an evening meal overlooking the elegant Parque Kennedy, go shopping in Larco Mar located by the Pacific ocean; or you may wish take a stroll down the beach. Meals: (B). Day 7: Private Lima Tour - international departure. After breakfast, we will drive you downtown into the city of the Kings; our English speaking guide will help you to get to know the Plaza de Armas, with the baroque cathedral, the Palacio de Gobierno, the Archbishop's Palace with its big carved wooden balconies, and the convent of San Francisco, whose bright yellow facade covers a grisly secret. Underneath the convent lie extensive catacombs that served as the cemetery for the whole of Lima during the colonial period!
