Enjoy a relaxing sightseeing cruise that will take you through some of the most scenic parts of the Fjords. You will pass waterfalls, steep mountainsides and small picturesque communities. We sail between idyllic skerries and small islands on the majestic "King of the Fjords", the Sognefjord.
This tour can also be taken from Oslo to Bergen, Bergen to Oslo or Bergen to Bergen.
Your Itinerary:
Day 1: Oslo
Individual arrival and transfer to your hotel in Oslo.
Day 2: Oslo - Bergen
Morning or afternoon departure (8:11 AM, 10:33 AM or 4:07 PM) to Bergen from the Railway Station across the street from your hotel. The train trip will take approximately 6.5 hours. Dinner at your hotel.
Day 3: Bergen - LeikangerOur boat will be at Dreggekaien, the pier just opposite of Radisson SAS Royal Hotel. Departure Bergen at 09.00. Check in onboard from 08.30-09.00. We will sail from Bergen and head northwards.
At approx. 13.00 a nice lunch will be served onboard or en route. At approx. 15.30 we arrive the remote settlement of Finnafjord, set in delightful surroundings. A short visit and refreshments served ashore. Activities to choose between like fishing by the shore or hiking along different tracks! Those who just like to sit down and relax are of course free to do so! We will stay at the farm for approx. 1 hour.
The trip continues pass Balestrand up the fjord to Leikanger. Dinner will be served at your hotel.
Day 4: Sognefjord - Styvi - Unredal - Flam - Oslo
Departure at 08.30. We sail further up the Sognefjord and along the beautiful, narrow Nærøyfjord, now on UNESCO’s World Heriage List. Visit ashore at the tiny settlement of Styvi where you will be given a guided visit of the farm. Arrival Styvi at apprx. 10.00 hrs. and departure Styvi at apprx. 10.45 hrs. After this visit the cruise continues along the Nærøyfjord almost to Gudvangen before you return and head towards idyllic Undredal where there will be time to take a look around and visit the little church. A visit at the local shop is a must! Arrival Undredal at 11.30 hrs. and departure at apprx. 13.45 hrs. Lunch will be served enroute. The cruise continues along the Aurlandsfjord to Flam. In Flam we will board the famous Flåmsbanen train to Myrdal – change trains at Myrdal and continue to Oslo. Arrival in Oslo approximately 22.30.
Day 5: Oslo
Arrangements end after breakfast.
