Tour Itinerary:
Day 1, Friday: Lethem
7:00 pm: Depart Georgetown by bus for a ten hours spirit lifting drive to Lethem.
23:00 pm: A brief stop at the Bauxite Town of Linden and 58 Miles Mabura Road side Restaurant for a hot cup of tea or snack.
Day 2, Saturday: Kurupukari Villag
04:00 am: Arrive at Kurupukari Village for the Essequibo River crossing into the Iwokrama forest reserve where you will digest splendid drive through our pristine Rainforest.
08:00 am: Arrive at the Rock View Resort at the foot hills of the Pakaraima Mountains in the North Rupununi Savannahs for breakfast and a tour.
10:00 am: Depart the Rock View Resort for Lethem where you will digest some spirit lifting, nature depicting Savannah and Mountains views that will last you a life time as you drive to Lethem.
13:00 pm: Arrive at the Takatu Hotel in Lethem for lunch.
15:00 pm: Visit the Runpunui Day Exhibition site for a fun filled afternoon which will take you deep into the night. While there you will digest the pure Amerindian culture, craft, food and their splendid dancing style.
Day 3, Sunday: 6:00 am: Visit the Moca Moca waterfalls at the Kanuku Mountain foot hills for a Water Massage and a splendid mountain climb.
Day 4, Monday: 06:00 pm: Digest a South Savannah drive to Dadawana ranch and Sand Creek Amerindian village for a tour to view their culture before you return to the ranch for the night.
Day 5, Tuesday: 06:00 am: Depart the Ranch once again for Shea Rock in the South Savannahs which is said to be the largest single rock in South America.
Day 6, Wednesday: 06:00 am: Depart the Ranch for Lethem before traveling Boa Vista for a tour of the city.
Day 7, Thursday: 06:00 am: Return to Lethem for lunch, then travel to the Brazilian City of Boa Vista for a tour and to digest a pure Brazilian night life.
Day 8, Friday: 11:00 am: Return bus ride to Lethem.
Day 9, Saturday: 06:00 am: Have a Savannah Safari to Nappi and Yupukari Amerindian village then to Karanambo resort for one day tour up the Rupununi River to view the wildlife eg: Black Caimans and Giant Otters living habits.
Day 10, Sunday: 06:00 am: Boat journey to Annai Village for Savannah trek to the Rock View Resort.
Day 11, Monday: Have your return flight to Georgetown.
Available Tours:
- Day tour to: Fort Zeelandia, Shanklands Nature Resort, Bartica, Kyk-Over-Al Dutch Fort, jungle trek to Marshall Waterfalls, speed boat ride through the Marshall Rapids, visit Baracara Resort and waterfalls. Tour package: USD $100.
- In the evening visit the Buddy’s Pools Hall and Disco at the ground floor. Tour Package: USD $100.
- Relax with a day tour to Linden Bauxite mining town and Splashmins Resort on the Linden Highway. Tour package: USD $150.
- Have a day tour to Orinduik, Kaieteur waterfalls “the world highest 741 ft single drop waterfalls” and Baganara Nature Resort on the mighty Essequibo River. Tour package: USD $500.00.
