Guyana’s Rainforest is considered to be the most pristine of the thirteen remaining tropical rainforests in the entire world. This full twelve-hour tour provides spectacular and comprehensive aerial views of the forest, including its savannahs, the Pakaraima Mountain Range and many of the country’s majestic waterfalls.

6:00 hrs: Aircraft departs Ogle airport on the coastland, flying over vast sugar cane fields along the Demerara River to the Bauxite mining town, Linden. Your flight continues along the mighty Essequibo River, the largest river in Guyana, affording an aerial view of the former location of Omai gold mines and Iwokrama, The International Centre for Rainforest Conservation and Development where global scientists are seeking answers to questions related to sustainable life on Planet Earth.

8:00 hrs: Your first stop will be the Rock View Nature Resort at Annai, an Amerindian village situated in the Pakaraima Mountain foothills, Guyana’s largest mountain range. Here you will spend some time sightseeing after breakfast.

9:00 hrs: Departure from Rock View Nature Resort for an aerial view of Shea Rock in the South Rupununi Savannahs. Shea Rock is said to be the largest single rock in South America. Your flight path will take you along the Rupununi River, through the Kanuku Mountain Range to Karanambu, another nature resort, this one famous for its exotic Giant Otters (water dogs). After a brief tour and some close interaction with Karanambu’s main attraction, you will depart for Lethem, a Guyana/Brazil border town; lunch, then fly over the Pakaraimas for a destination on the jasper rocks of Orinduik Falls and a chance to swim and luxuriate in the Fall’s refreshing waters.

Next stop…The Mighty Kaieteur Falls, 741 feet, the world’s tallest single drop waterfall. You’ll spend some time here photographing the awesome beauty of this truly magnificent wonder of nature; savoring the experience before your tour ends at.

17:00 hrs: Reflect on a memorable fun filled say during the return flight to Ogle airport.
