Have you ever dreamed of cruising downhill on a bicycle through some of the world's most majestic scenery? Then this trip is for you! We will begin our ride from the top of the highest pass on the Friendship Highway between Kathmandu and Lhasa. The route, nearly 4600 meters, will provide you the opportunity to see wondrous mountains and experience both Tibetan and Nepalese culture. These two cultures are neighbors, but are very different in their history and beliefs. It is easy to fall in love with this area while riding. As if the trip wasn't easy enough, we will take a rest day in Nyalam. While in this quaint small town we will visit numerous historic sites, like the site where revered Tibetan Saint Milarepa meditated. On the way down to Kathmandu we will also pass through numerous small villages such as Panauti and Lubhu.
