Your Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrive at Beijing. Arrive Beijing in the afternoon. Welcome to the capital of China. Our guide will meet you at the airport and transfer you to hotel.

Day 2: Beijing. Visit Tian An Men Square, the Forbidden City, the Temple of Heaven and the Summer Palace. Dinner followed by Peking Opera performance.

Day 3: Beijing. Full day excursion to the mighty Great Wall and Ming Tombs. A Peking Duck dinner is planned.

Day 4: Fly from Beijing - Lhasa. Fly to Lhasa, on arrival transfer to Hotel Dhood Gu or Shambala Hotel, both centrally located. Afternoon free for acclimatization.

Day 5: Explore Lhasa. Visit Jorkhang Temple, Barkhor Street and in the afternoon pay a visit to unique Sera Monastery, don't miss monks debating at 3 pm normally.

Day 6: Explore Lhasa. Visit Giant Potala Palace, which used to be the home of the Dalai Lamas. Afternoo will be Drepung Monastery.

Day 7: Lhasa - Gyantse. Drive to Gyantse (254km) having a picnic lunch at lake side or Turqoise Yamdrok, enjoy the view of Karela Glacier, visit Kumbum Monastery on arrival Gyantse Town. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 8: Gyantse - Shigatse. Drive to Shigatse (90km) can drop a visit to Sharlu Monastery (with its famous well preserved murals in the monastery). Overnight at Mansarovar or Wutse Hotel.

Day 9: Shigatse - Lhatse. Drive to Lhatse (175km), enroute visit Shakya Monastery, enjoy Hot Spring. Overnight stay at Lhatse Farmers Guest House.

Day 10: Lhatse - Saga. Drive to Saga (293km), enroute enjoy the view of Yarluzangbu River. Overnight stay at guest house.

Day 11: Saga - Paryang. Drive to Paryang (245km), today we will cross the land wild open, companied by Yarlung Zangpo River, deserted, remote. Overnight camping.

Day 12: Paryang - Mansarovar. Drive to Mansarovar (284km). Overnight camping.

Day 13: Mansarovar - Tarchen. Sightseeing around the Mansarovar and then move to Base Camp of Kailash, Tarchen, overnight local guest house.

Day 14: Trek to Diraphuk. Trek about 22km to Diraphuk, "Tough day". After breakfast drive to Tarboch (8km) and start trek (Kora of Mt. Kailash) to Diraphuk (5000m) light lunch on the way, dinner at camp, overnight camping.

Day 15: Trek to Zuthulphuk. Trek about 20 km to Zuthulphuk, this is the day all pilgrims talk about, the most difficult journey through the Yatra, slowly climb over Dolmala Pass (5637m) and descend down to Zuthulphuk, overnight camping.

Day 16: Trek to Tarchen. Trek about only 6 km down to the point where our land cruisers will be waiting for us, drive to Tarchen (10km), overnight local guest house.

Day 17: Mt. Kailash - Zada. Drive to Zada (249Km). Overnight stay at local best hotel Zada Hotel.

Day 18: Zada - Tsaparang. Drive to Tsaparang. Overnight stay at guest house.

Day 19: Tsaparang -Shiquanhe (Gar). Drive to Shiquanhe (Gar) (119km). Overnight stay at local best Hotel Shiquanhe Hotel.

Day 20: Shiquanhe - Ritu. Drive to Ritu. 127Km. Overnight camping.

Day 21: Ritu - Hongliutan. Drive to Hongliutan (350km). Overnight camping.

Day 22: Hongliutan - Kargilik (Yecheng). Drive to Kargilik (Yecheng) 385km.Overnight stay at guest house.

Day 23: Kargilik - Kashgar. Drive to Kashgar (216km). Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 24: Explore Kashgar. Situated at the foot of the impressive Pamir Mountains, Kashgar was once the key trading post bridging the East and the West. Largely inhabited by the Uygurs, this ancient city is dotted with Muslin architecture and still retains the exotic feel of the Silk Road era. We will visit Kashgar's lively markets, which attract thousands of people from the far corners of the region. They come here to sell, bargain, and trade everything ranging from camels to raisins. Our sightseeing tour will also include the Id Kha Mosque and the tomb of Abjakh Hoja. Our tour includes the tombs of Abakh Hoja, the famous Eidgah Mosque and the most unique old town with typical Uyghur styled homes. We visit the various shopping alleys full of noodle shops, bakeries, teashops, blacksmiths and carpenters. Time has stood still - try a local taxi, which is a donkey cart.

Day 25: Fly Kashgar - Urumqi. Today we will have a free day, allowing you to explore Kashgar's old quarter, home to a fascinating mix of ethnicities - Uygurs, Tajiks, Kyrgyz and Uzbeks - or visit one of Kashgar's many other sights. In the evening we will take a flight to Urumqi.

Day 26: Fly Urumqi - Beijing. Fly back to Beijing. Rest of the day free at leisure.

Day 27: Beijing - Home. Transfer to Beijing International Airport for your flight back home.

Note: You can fly to Lhasa from any cities like Shanghai, Xian, Kunming, Chongqing, Guangzhou (Canton), Kathmandu in Nepal to join this tour.
