There will be an experienced bicycle mechanic in our own rolling bike shop, with daily water and snack stops, luggage transportation from hotel to hotel, not to mention the competent, experienced and friendly support staff to assist you along the way, and so much more.
Arrival city for this tour is Nelspruit and the airport is Kruger Mpumalanga International. There are daily flights with various airlines from Johannesburg.
Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: This is the day for arrival after your transfer to the Hotel we will be building bikes with a possible short ride to get rid of the jet lag.
Day 2: This is a easy warm up day so that we can be back at our hotel for lunch after lunch we all get in the bus and visit a chimpanzee sanctuary. Distance: 90km; Accent: 1000m.
Day 3: This is a long hard day by any ones books 2 x 1500m mountain passes from our hotel we will be riding towards Sabie where we will be stopping for lunch before returning to our hotel which make this the 3rd night at the same hotel a 5 star lodge in a wild life reserve. Distance: 135km; Accent: 2400m.
Day 4: This is a shorter recovery day to our next hotel we should be there for lunch and give you a few hours to relax around the pool before one of our tour operators come to fetch you in a open 4 x 4 vehicle for a late afternoon game drive in the world renown Kruger Park around 7 pm you will be treated to a bush dinner in a open boma with shangaan tribal dancers. Distance: 80km; Accent: 1000m.
Day 5: This is a very short day just about 2 hours of cycling the rest of the day will be around the swimming pool and after lunch we all get in the bus where we will be visiting a African Elephant sanctuary u will have the opportunity to interact with elephants feeding, walking and riding them and then later the afternoon sipping cocktails around the pool. Distance: 50km.
Day 6: This is a long scenic ride we will be stopping at the pinnacle, god's window natural bridge just to name a few 2 x 1700m mountain passes to our next Hotel. Distance: 90km; Accent: 2000m.
Day 7: From our hotel we will be riding back to our 1st hotel where we will be building bikes and have a farewell dinner. Distance: 85km; Accent: 1500m.
Day 8: Day for departures depending on you schedules additional riding or suggestions if you want to stay longer available.
