The itinerary leads through the high Khumbu mountains before finally arriving at the foot of Everest. The Kala Pattar (5545m) ascent is one of the highlights of this trek from where one can have a lifetime panorama of Ama Dablam, Makalu, Nuptse, Lhotse & majestic Everest.
Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu. Transfer to hotel. Alt. 1,350m / 4,428 ft
Day 2: Half day sightseeing of Kathmandu valley. Rest of the day preparation for the trek.
Day 3: Fly to Lukla & then trek to Phakding Alt. 2,610m / 8,561ft (4 hrs)
Day 4: Trek Phakding - Namche Bazaar Alt. 3,440m / 11,283ft (5 hrs)
Day 5: Acclimatization day at Namche BAzaar Alt. 3,440m / 11,283ft
Day 6: Trek Namche Bazaar - Tyangboche Alt. 3,860m / 12,661ft (5 hrs)
Day 7: Trek Tyangboche - Dingboche Alt. 4,410m / 14,465 ft (6 hrs)
Day 8: Acclimatization
