Detailed Itinerary:
Day 1: Passau
Embarkation begins at 4 p.m. The ship leaves the Passau port at 6 p.m. and proceeds towards Vienna through a lovely stretch of the Danube called “Schlogener Schlinge.” Take advantage of the scenic views passing by, while enjoying your complimentary cocktail served prior to your welcome dinner.
Day 2: Vienna
The ship will reach Vienna close to noon. You will see most of the important sights of this traditional old world city, during the “Vienna Sightseeing Tour.” The ship leaves the port at 6 p.m. this evening, heading for Budapest.
Day 3: Budapest
The ship’s arrival in Budapest is expected to be at 10 a.m. Admire the views this city has to offer, with spectacular architecture on both sides of its riverbanks. The “Guided Tour of Budapest” will be this afternoon. After dinner, enjoy an unforgettable evening cruise with glorious views of the floodlit buildings of the city. Entertainment this evening will be the lively music of a Gypsy band, and a performance by a Hungarian folklore group onboard. Set sail for Slovakia.
Day 4: Bratislava
Relax this morning, before the ship arrives midday in the port of Bratislava. Enjoy the “Guided Tour of Bratislava”. Relax and enjoy the Danube view in the late afternoon as we sail towards the Wachau Valley, said to be the most beautiful stretch of the Danube Valley.
Day 5: Melk - Emmersdorf
In the morning, tie up at the idyllic wine-growing town of Emmersdorf. Take part in the “Beauties of the Wachau” excursion. At 2 p.m., the boat continues through the scenic and mythical Wachau, famous for its impressive baroque building, the Benedictine Abbey of Melk. The captain invites you to a gala dinner, and to dance the night away in the Panorama Bar to the excellent live music that has been entertaining you throughout the cruise.
Day 6: Passau
Arrive in the city of Passau around 9:00 a.m., and disembark by 9:30 a.m. Your cruise ends here.
