For avid birders we highly recommend Tarcol Lodge option while in the Pacific lowlands as a resident bird guide and local transport are included.
1 night: San Jose upon arrival at Hotel Bougainvillea
3 nights: Villa Lapas OR Tarcol Lodge near Carara in the Pacific lowlands
2 nights: Savegre Mountain Lodge in the Chiriqui Highlands
3 nights: Rancho Naturalista on the Caribbean slope
3 nights: La Selva OTS Station in the Caribbean lowlands
