Previously a restricted area near the Tibetan border, the unexplored regions of the Langtang National park has recently been developed into the Tamang Heritage Trail. The people in this area are mostly of Tamang and Tibetan origin, whose culture goes back to hundreds of year. The craftsmanship, dress, traditionally built stone households and the beautifully carved wooden porches reflect the solitude and the serenity of the Himalayan scenery.
Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Upon arrival in Kathmandu transfer to hotel.
Day 2: Trek preparation day in Kathmandu.
Day 3: Drive to Syabrubensi, overnight at tented camp.
Day 4: Trek to Tatopani, overnight at tented camp.
Day 5: Trek to Thuman, overnight at tented camp.
Day 6: Trek to Timure (a short hike to Rasuwagadhi and back to campsite), overnight at tented camp.
Day 7: Trek to Bridim, overnight at tented camp.
Day 8: Trek to Syabrubensi, overnight at tented camp.
Day 9: Drive back to Kathmandu, overnight at hotel.
Optional program from Kathmandu:

Airfare is not included in the tour price.

- International & domestic airport transfer Transfers as per the itinerary
- Twin sharing basis hotel accommodation on bed and breakfast basis
- Internal transport and flight within Nepal as per the itinerary
- Twin sharing basis accommodation & meals on the trek as indicated by the itinerary
- While trekking (either in two person tents or local lodges/guesthouses)
- All trekking and climbing related permit & fees as if required
