Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Abroad - Delhi. Midnight
Upon arrival at Indira Gandhi International Airport, our executive would be honored to hold your name on a placard (Please look for him in the main arrival lounge) to receive and welcome you. After meeting and greeting, transfer to Hotel. Check in at the hotel after receiving a warm Indian welcome and relax for the rest of the day amidst the superb hotel facilities. Overnight at Hotel (A five star graded hotel).
New Delhi begins with the drive past Safdarjang’s Tomb (1753 AD) on the way to Qutab Minar (1193 AD) this striking medieval tower of victory of Persian World is 73 m high. Within the Qutab complex, amidst the ruins of Quwat - ul - Islam mosque, stands the Iron pillar which has stood the vagaries of weather and has not rusted over 1500 years. Then drive through New Delhi includes the Embassy area (Diplomatic enclave), Government buildings, India Gate, Sikh Temple (Bangla Sahib Gurudwara), Birla Temple and Connaught Place, New Delhi’s main shopping area. Visit Humayun’s Tomb - considered to be the fore runner of Taj Mahal.
Day 2: Delhi
Akshardham Temple, a modern day Wonder of the World will begin your insight into ancient and modern Delhi. Moving on to the Red Fort, you can watch the magnificent artifacts and royal dresses at the museum inside the fort. From here we proceed in bicycle rickshaws through the bustling streets of Chandni Chowk to Jama Masjid. Perched just opposite the mighty Red Fort the grandeur of Jama Masjid is best appreciated during Islamic festivals (optional visit). As you stroll through the bustling markets of Chandni Chowk, don't miss out on some great bargains, especially in traditional clothes and silver trinkets. We then drive past the imposing India Gate, the Parliament building and the Rashtrapathi Bhawan. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Delhi.
Day 3: Delhi - Agra
Morning, get ready for the enthralling rail ride for Agra. Your breakfast will be on board. Enjoy the window-view of lush green farms and the farmers busy in harvesting their crops, indeed, it is sceneric. Within two hours you are in the marble city - Agra. Check-in your pre-booked Hotel 'The Trident' - a five star luxury hotel.
Post lunch awaits a visit to the spectacular Agra Fort, a magnificent colossal carved out of red sand stone, other attraction of the fort is the most royal view of Taj, standing at a distance of just 2 km. It increases your lust and temptations of viewing this charismatic marvel from the close quitters. Be patient, the magic charm is just a hand away. The magic of golden rays of evening sun bestowing on the 'Taj' definitely cast a spell on you. Don't forget to capture this lifetime moment into your handy-cam. Day 4: Agra - Shahpura Bagh
In morning drive to shahpura bagh via Chittorgarh. This wonderful, garden estate was formerly the summer home of the rulers of Shahpura and is located in the heart of a network of 250 lakes, and comprises two residences. Set in 30 acres of garden and pasture and surrounded by lakes, it is a very special and ultimately peaceful little oasis, situated midway between Jaipur and Udaipur. In the way you explore the Fathapur Sikri monument. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 5: Shahpura Bagh - Jaipur
In morning after breakfast drive to Jaipur. the city of forts and palaces. Evening free for individual activities. Dinner and overnight in Hotel Shahpura House (Heritage/Suites). The splendid Fort/Palace of Amber was wrested by the Kachhwaha Rajputs in the mid-12th century. The Kacchawahas dominated the surrounding area for the next six centuries. Amber was also the prime site of the alliance between the Mughals and the Rajputs. The astronomer - King, Sawai Jai Singh II, famous for his Jantar Mantar ascended the throne in 1699. He soon decided to build a new city in the plains: Jaipur was designed according to the principals of the Shilpa-Shastra (Architecture) and the capital shifted here in 1727, the city attracted merchants and crafts-people that over time shaped its irresistible bazaar.
Day 6: Jaipur
Full day sight seeing of the Palace of Wind; visit the city palace museum and the old observatory. From hereon we shall go to visit the Amber Fort, arriving at the gate on the back of a beautifully caparisoned Elephant. 7:30pm. Go to the restaurant in the Rambag Palace Hotel. This Palace Hotel was the residence of Maharaja of Jaipur and Maharani Gayatri Devi, who was declared the most beautiful women in the forties by American magazine – "The Vogue". Awesome ambiance. Dress code: smart casuals.Overnight in your hotel.
Day 7: Jaipur - Sardargarh
After break fast drive to Sardargarh. One of the magnificent forts of Rajasthan, is an extravagant creation by men of a bygone era, placed amidst the mountains and deep forests of Chuppun. You can see the ramparts of the mystery filled Sardargarh, like a great ship anchored at outer sea, much before you get close to the gigantic walls soaring high above the low lying village of Lawa. Magnificent fort of Sardargarh is situated 94km north from Udaipur. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 8: Sardargarh - Udaipur
After breakfast drive to Udaipur. The romantic Lake City in Southern Rajasthan, famous for the stunning white marble Palace built on an island in the Lake Pichola. It was the former Palace of the Maharana and now converted to one of the most glamorous hotels in India. The tour will cover the magnificent City Palace, the Jagdish temple, the pleasure gardens and a drive around the other nearby lakes. Overnight stay at hotel. Udaipur is perhaps a unique pre-modern capital with no fort. Coming to life after the final sacking of Chittaur, Udaipur saw an explosion of building activity- temples, Palaces and Havelis. Lake Picchola with its two islands - Jagniwas (now the Lake Palace Hotel) and Jagmandir defines Udaipur. The City Palace towers over the lake. The artificial Jaisamand Lake was created in 17th century by damming the Gomti River. There are beautiful chhatries (Cenotaphs) around the embankment.
Day 9: Udaipur - Deogarh
After breakfast drive to Deoagrh en route visiting Ranakpur Temples. Lunch at Maharani Bagh. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 10: Deogarh - Jodhpur
In morning After breakfast straight drive to the sun city Jodhpur, an impressive blend of modern and traditional architecture reflecting upon its numerous palaces. On arrival our representative will assist you to transfer to the hotel. Afternoon sightseeing tour. Overnight stay at hotel. The blue city, the city of marwar (local name of the region) has the most majestic fortress and the colorful markets to offer. Your personal guide takes you on a tour to the land of rathore rajputs. The tour includes the mehran garh fort, jaswant thada and a visit to the near by clock tower market.
Day 11: Jodhpur - Jaisalmer
Morning after breakfast, drive to Jaisalmer. The fortress-city of Jaisalmer stands tall and proud, in lonely grandeur. Built of yellow sandstone, the fortress towers over the new city, huddled close to its massive walls. The origin of Jaisalmer has an interesting legend. It is said that during the months of October and February is the most comfortable period to visit the golden city. The annual Desert Festival which is celebrated here attracts a large number of people. On reaching Jaisalmer check in hotel and spend the rest of the day shopping or at leisure. Jaisalmer is well known for the mirror worked and rich embroidered fabrics so go out shopping for these beautiful stuff. Spend the night at the hotel.
Day 12: Jaisalmer
Morning after breakfast, drive out for the local tour of Jaisalmer. Visit the Gadsisar Lake, the Fort, Manak Chowk and Havelis, Tazia tower, the government museum, Jain temple, Laxminath temple, the gyan bhandar or the library, the sunset point, etc. Late in the evening return back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 13: Jaisalmer-Bikaner
Morning after breakfast at hotel, drive to Bikaner. Popularly known as the camel country, Bikaner lies in the north of the Rajasthan. On arrival at Bikaner check into hotel. Later proceed for a city tour. Visit - Junagarh, the Suraj Pol, Lal Garh Palace, etc. In the evening enjoy camel ride. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 14: Bikaner – Kuchaman
In the morning, you would return to your resort and pack up to roll on to another city Kachaman. Just after your breakfast, you would board your cab and drive for Kachaman. On way, our guide would keep you entertained. Check in hotel. Freshen up with a warm cup of coffee. Later your breakfast would be served in your room. There are not much things to watch here. But the regions is quite famous for skirting a desert. As a heritage piece, you have Kuchaman fort to discover. Now turned into a heritage hotel, Kuchaman fort hotel has 34 rooms with well equipped modern amenities. Not much to see yet lot to discover through a simple walk in the narrow lanes of village. Resort to your hotel. Overnight at Kuchaman.
Day 15: Kuchaman – Mandawa
Morning after breakfast at hotel, drive to Mandawa. On arrival check into a hotel. Later on visit the town; also wander through the streets where mansions of rich merchants are adorned with elaborate and lively frescoes, displaying the life, habits/fashions of the Marwari community. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 16: Delhi
In morning, after breakfast, you would drive back to Delhi. From International airport, you will board your next flight.
