Our Guided walks are very much for those that want a comfortable holiday but at the same time being out in the open, walking, seeing and getting the feel for the Irish countryside. Our guides are selected because of their knowledge of the area which you will be walking. They will explain the ecology of the area, its history, art, architecture, customs, folklore and its natural history. Good accommodation, (private bathroom each location) and quality meals make for a holiday to be remembered.
* Itinerary for guided Burren Connemara Peninsula
- Day 1 Arrive to first Guesthouse near Ballyvaughan where we stay for three nights.
- Days 2 & 3 We explore the Burren in depth-enjoying walks over the
spectacular Gleninagh mountain and the legendary Turlough Hill.
- Days 4 & 5 Moving west along Galway Bay to Clifden we immerse
ourselves in Connemara and also take a day out for a boat-trip to
Inisbofin Island-weather permitting.
- Days 6 & 7 Our last two days take us further north to Leenane as we cross the Twelve Bens and walk along Killary Harbour-Ireland’s only fjord.
- Day 8 Departures

- Day 1 Arrive in Doolin where we stay for the next two nights.
- Day 2 Walk over the spectacular Gleninagh Mountain to explore several stone forts before descending to Black Head. Wonderful views across Galway Bay.
- Day 3 From Doolin we travel to the Cliffs of Moher for a morning walk along the cliff-tops to Hag's Head. Return to Doolin pier to catch ferry to Inishmore, the largest of the Aran Islands. Afternoon walk to Dún Dúchathair, a spectacular cliff-top stone fort. We spend two nights at Kilronan, Inishmore's main town.
- Day 4 & 5 Walk westwards along the spine of Inishmore to visit Dún Aonghusa, Ireland's most famous stone fort. On the last day we explore the eastern end of the island, before departing the island by ferry.
Our Self-Guided walks give you that sense of adventure, where the you guideyourselves from place to place and we look after all the logistics ...move luggage, book accommodation, do route details/maps, keep an eye on you, etc..... all you have to do is walk each day and enjoy Ireland as it should be seen.... on foot !Self-Guided Walking Holidays, 4 day, 6 day, 8 day, 10 day or 11 day can start/finish any day of the week.

- Day 1 Arrive at Doolin and collect the ‘Walk Information Pack’ from your first house accommodation.
- Days 2 & 3 Enjoy two beautiful walks across the fascinating “Burren”.
- Days 4, 5 & 6 Transferring along the southern coast of Connemara
you now have the opportunity to enjoy wonderful scenery dominated
by the majestic Twelve Bens and Maamturk mountains with glorious
views all around.
- Day 7 An exhilarating day’s walk takes you on the grand finale along the southern shore of Killary Harbour returning to the village of Leanane.
- 8 Days, 7 Nights B&B
