Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Depart Salt Lake City
At 5p.m. we start this fantastic trip by picking up you and your fellow Adventurers in Salt Lake City. We'll prep you for your adventure and then enjoy a comfortable journey to our first destination.

Day 2: Thunder Mountain
Perhaps the most picturesque single-track in the country, Thunder Mountain is unforgettable! Located on a high plateau, this trail winds through red rock sandstone spires called hoodoos. End the day with a cook out and campfire under the starry sky.

Day 3: Gooseberry Mesa
This great trail (with Zion National Park as a backdrop) with its technical twists and sand stone sectors is said to rival Slickrock Trail, and has been touted as the best trail in Southern Utah, decide for yourself! Here’s your introduction to the unique terrain, called slickrock. Actually, slickrock is not slick at all. To the eye, it appears to be slick sculpted sandstone, but its surface is like coarse sandpaper. It's the stickiest thing your tires will ever touch!

Day 4: Gemini Bridges
On to Moab! Nestled in the heart of Utah's Canyonlands, this trail is a mixture of fire road, slickrock, and amazing scenery! It’s a great intro ride that will acclimate you to the area’s unique terrain. A killer descent leads you to amazing views from the top of the twin sandstone formations that give this trail its name. 20 miles ride into the unique town of Moab, and become acquainted with your new home base for the week!

Day 5: Moab's Slickrock Trail
The Greek Deities had Olympus, and the gods of mountain biking must surely dwell here. Twelve miles of uninterrupted sticky sandstone waves for your fat tires. This ride is hard & heavenly! Later, cool off in a pool, or wander into town for an ice cream or to sample more of the local brews!

Day 6: Free day Moab Utah
Today, give your blackened gluts a rest and discover that there is more to Moab than fabulous mountain biking trails! Canoe, jeep, horseback ride, rappel, and yes, there are still numerous bike trails to choose from! We’ll take an evening ride with John on his unique Unimog to the best spot in Moab to watch the sunset, high above the Colorado River, as the end of our adventure draws near.

Day 7: Moab's Porcupine Rim
Ride this local epic with dynamic views of the La Sal Mountains and Castle Rock. Locals think this is the best ride in town - we agree! Like a phenomenal roller coaster, this trail climbs 3 miles and summits at the canyon rim, then gives way to miles and miles of hair raising downhill!

Day 8: We'll roll back into Salt Lake City by noon, exchange emails and addresses, and say our goodbyes. We'll assist you with your shuttle ride to the airport, or suggest sites to see if you are staying in Salt Lake City for an extra day.
