Day 1: Stuttgart, Germany
Arrive in Stuttgart and transfer to your hotel, the stylish boutique property Der Zauberlehrling (The Sorcercer's Apprentice), where each of the nine rooms has been lovingly crafted with its own unique design aesthetic and flair. Set in a lush valley ringed with vineyards, Stuttgart itself is one of the greenest cities in Europe. The citizens pride themselves both on the fine cars built in their city and on their environmentalist spirit. Stuttgart is also one of Germany's top wine-growing centres. With its moderate climate, proximity to the Schwaäbische Alb (Swabian Jura) and unique Swabian heritage, Stuttgart is a great place to experience a vibrant, well-to-do south German city without hordes of tourists. Spend the day at leisure exploring the charming streets, expansive parks, and vibrant nightlife. Hotel: Der Zauberlehrling.
Day 2: Vitznau, Switzerland
Transfer from your hotel after breakfast to Ludwigsburg. Arrive at Porsche AG to collect your car for the weekend, a Porsche Boxster or Cayman, before setting off towards Central Switzerland. Stop off for lunch at the Öschberghof in Donaueschingen and enjoy views of the magnificent golf course nearby. In the afternoon, the tour continues along small country roads towards Lake Zurich. Cross the lake at Pfäffikon, then head for Lake Lucerne on whose shores the Swiss Confederation was founded in 1291 with the swearing of the Rütli Oath. Arrive at your destination for the night, the Park Hotel Vitznau, where a welcome drink awaits you. Hotel: Hotel Park Vitznau. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 3: Lake Lucerne, Switzerland to Ludwigsburg, Germany
What better way to start the day than to enjoy an exquisite breakfast with breathtaking views of the lake, and then to take to the wheel of a Porsche? Set off along the shores of Lake Lucerne to Weggis and then on to Lake Zuger, a very special oasis set against a stunning mountain backdrop, savouring every mile in one of our Porsche sports cars. Stop for lunch at the Hotel Restaurant Adler in the Black Forest before taking the winding roads back to the A81 motorway. Arrival in Ludwigsburg followed by a private limousine transfer back to the comforts of Der Zauberlehrling. After freshening up, a stroll down to the lounge for champagne cocktails and snacks, then sit down to a 6-course menu degustation with accompanying wines, mineral water, cafe in the hotel's intimate restaurant. Day 4: Stuttgart, Germany
This morning enjoy a leisurely breakfast and then say your goodbyes as you return home or continue on with your journeys. Includes: (B).
