Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: San Jose
Arrive in San Jose, where you will be met by an English speaking representative to help speed you through customs and transfer you to the Finca Rosa Blanca. Spend the rest of the afternoon and the next morning exploring the grounds. Finca Rosa Blanca is situated above the beautiful Central Valley of Costa Rica. Surrounded by towering “Higuerón” trees and exotic flora, the Inn offers spectacular views of volcanoes, cloud forests and coffee plantations. Here at 4000 feet above sea level on a temperate plateau of extraordinary beauty, is grown some of the world’s best coffee in the lush volcanic soil. Nestled in 10 acres amid hundreds of fruit trees and dramatic tropical flora is the enchanted Finca Rosa Blanca Country Inn, a jewel crowning a picturesque knoll. Hotel: Finca Rosa Blanca.

Days 2/4: Manuel Antonio National Park
Travel South by small aircraft to one of Costa Rica’s most pristine regions. Here you will experience the truly unspoiled terrain of this tropical wonderland. After breakfast at the hotel, meet your local guide at the lobby of your hotel and depart for the 45 minute drive to the Pavas local airport where you board a chartered flight to the Puerto Jimenez area (50 minutes flight). Upon arrival, a hotel representative will be waiting for you to transfer you to the lodge. Lapa Rios Lodge is set in a private nature reserve spread over 1,000 acres of Central America's last remaining lowland tropical rainforest. It overlooks the pristine point where the Golfo Dulce meets the Pacific Ocean and was built in harmony with the surrounding forest and beach environments. The main lodge and bungalows line three ridges connected by walking paths and steps. The main lodge, housing the restaurant and bar, soars 50 feet and is built of local, natural materials. Palm-thatched roofs meet a three-story hardwood circular stairway. Climb up to view the forest canopy and ocean. Comfortable, locally made bamboo furniture adds to relaxation in this tranquil nature lodge. Spend the next two days exploring the lush surroundings, where resident naturalist guides lead tours through pristine wilderness and to nearby beaches on foot or on horseback. There's also a new Sustainability Tour highlighting the efforts made to limit the lodge's impact on its environs. Hotel: Lapas Rios . Includes: (B), (L), (D).

Days 5/7: Coastal Adventures
After breakfast, transfer by private vehicle to the Puerto Jimenez airport, and then travel cross-country by small aircraft to the coastal mountain resort of Punta Islita for a sublime combination of true luxury and adventure. Here you can spend your days exploring the local village communities, trying your skills at surfing or taking the adrenaline to its peak with a zip-lining adventure. Other activities include everything from golf and horseback riding to local village tours and river kayaking. The outpost of Punta Islita will lure you back each day to revel in its lush comforts, lounging by the panoramic infinity pool or indulging in their Spa treatments. If you happen to be here during Christmas, the nearby beaches welcome sea turtles as they go through their nesting and hatching season. Night time, turtle-friendly tours allow you to share this wonderful event in an eco-friendly manner. Hotel: Punta Islita. Includes: (B), (L), (D).

Day 8: San Jose / Depart
After breakfast, tranfer to the Islita airstrip for the 45 minute flight back to San Jose, and then transfer to the international airport for your flight home. Includes: (B).
