Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Vancouver to Echo Valley Ranch. Transfer to the airport, where you will catch your morning flight to Kamloops. Upon arrival, meet your driver for the ride up to Echo Valley Ranch (approx 2 hours). Hotel: Echo Valley Ranch. Includes: (L), (D).

Days 2-3: Echo Valley Ranch and Spa. Surrounded by wide open spaces and tranquil wilderness, the ranch welcomes you to a spectacular western adventure, a superb sanctuary of first class accommodations, healthy gourmet food, complete spa services, and an enriching diversity of outdoor recreational activities. All this is made possible by the unique geographic location of the ranch. To the east are the Marble Range and Edge Hill mountains, to the south is the Fraser Canyon with near desert conditions, to the west are grasslands and to the north a Caribou plateau with countless lakes and marsh lands. It is known as a continuum of four distinct biomes and supports a multitude of ecosystems with varied animal, fauna and bird life. All of this within reach of a 5-mile radius of the hotel is yours to discover. A great Canadian wilderness paradise, with a colorful gold rush past, which offers more contrast, more textures, more wildlife and more simple delights in the abundance of the natural world than most great places can offer in a lifetime. Spend the next two days exploring the area and the activities at your leisure. Choose from a smorgasbord of guided outdoor activities from horseback riding and panning for gold to 4 x 4 safaris. Hotel: Echo Valley Ranch. Includes: (B), (L), (D).

Day 4: Echo Valley Ranch to Vancouver. After breakfast, transfer to the airport to catch your scheduled flight to Vancouver. After a leisurely lunch, head over to Stanley Park for a guided visit to the Vancouver Acquarium. Get an insightful behind-the-scenes look at the care for their amazing marine life and inner workings of the facility. Enjoy the killer whale show, an encounter with Belugas, Otters, Sea Lions and all the other fascinating marine life that lives there. Afterwards, the day is yours to explore the city. Hotel: Westin Bayshore. Includes: (B).

Day 5: Vancouver to Bedwell Outpost. After breakfast, walk over to the float plane dock by the hotel and board your flight to Tofino. Meet your host at the airport in Tofino for the 1-hour boat transfer up to the Bedwell Outpost. Inspired by late 19th century Great Camps, the Wilderness Outpost at Bedwell River promises a delicious irony of indulgent luxury and remote, untamed wilderness. The quintessential marriage of soft adventure and soft beds — of childhood wishes and grown-up dreams come true. An enclave of 23 great white canvas deluxe guest and family suite tents, plus dining tents, spa tents, and lounge tents offers visitors a taste of how the fortunate spent their summers ‘roughing it’ some one hundred years ago. At a glance this is a remote outpost, but up close an ultra-luxurious, 21st-century-eco-safari style wilderness playground. The heart of the outpost is a new ranch-style log cook house, with its towering double-sided fieldstone fireplace, outdoor lounge and showpiece open-kitchen. Five-star food and beverage service, world-class amenities, sumptuous interiors, and super natural adventure, leave nothing wanting, no detail undone. National Geographic Traveler magazine calls the resort "rusticating luxury". Hotel: The Outpost at Bedwell River. Includes: (B), (L), (D).

Days 6-7: Bedwell Outpost, Clayoquot. Spend the next two days sampling all of the myriad delights of the Outpost. The Clayoquot Sound Biosphere is a nature lover's paradise - a true wilderness playground where the opportunities for adventure are limited by imagination alone. Thousands of pristine acres, hundreds of miles of abandoned roads and old-growth forest trails, volcanic beach scapes, alpine valleys, lush fern gardens, and intertidal waterways attract all manner of untamed marine wild and rainforest animal life. Bear, martens, eagles, whales, seals, sea lions, puffins, porpoises and several endangered species of birds call the sound their home. And here, among majestic landscapes and the wildest of creatures, resort guests work at play. Try your hand at horseback riding, kayaking, canoing, and whale and bear watching, hiking and fresh and salt water fishing excursions - all led by experienced, first-aid-trained wilderness guides.

Don't forget to check out the Healing Grounds, an eco-safari style massage and therapeutic treatment centre with the soul of an outpost spa and a personality all its own. Four massage and treatment tents, three wood-fired cedar hot tubs, a wood-fired cedar sauna, outdoor showers, seawater baths and wrap-around sun decks artfully compose a rest and relation destination of intimate proportions. Hotel: The Outpost at Bedwell River. Includes: (B), (L), (D).

Day 8: Depart. After breakfast, take your private boat transfer, a 35 minute ride to Tofino, and transfer to the Tofino airport for your flight back to Vancouver. Includes: (B).
