Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Qaia - Amman (40 km)
Arrive Qaia in the afternoon, our Airport representative will meet the group upon their disembarkation from the flight gate holding sign with the clients name on for identification; after warm welcome to Jordan, proceed through immigration, issue your visa. Collect your luggage, our porters will load it on the trolleys and proceed through customs and reload the luggage into the vehicle under the clients observation and transfer to your hotel in Amman (40 km), check in at your hotel and overnight.
Day 2: Amman - Jordan Valley - Pella - Um Qais - Ajloun - Um Qais - Jerash - Amman (330 km)
After breakfast drive Drive to the northern Jordan Valley to Pella from the Greco - Roman period (Early Christians found refuge here from turmoil and Romman conquest in Jerusalem after 70 AD: perhaps the site of Penuel, where Jacob wrestled with the angel all night). Continue to Gedara (Um Qais) once a decapolis city, overlooking the Sea of Galilee and the Golan heights. Drive to Ajloun (25 km). Er Rabad castle built in the 12th century by the Nephew of Saladine Usama bin Munqeth, a fine example of Arab architecture. Drive to visit the well preserved Roman decapolis city of Jerash, Byzantan Churches the Temple of Artimes the colonnaded street and the Form. Return to Amman your hotel, dinner and overnight. Day 3: King's Way, Mt. Nebo - Madaba - Kerak - Petra (360 km)
After breakfast short Amman city tour, visit the New parts of Amman,the Citadel Archaeological Museum, the amphitheater, and the new parts of Amman. Drive to visit the Mosaic Map of Jerusalem and the area which lies on the floor of St. George's Church in Madaba, then drive to Mt. Nebo with the beautiful mosaics of the Terra Sancta Church and where Moses, and, recently the Pope stood. Continue via the King's way to visit Um Rasas, Machaerus, once Herodian fortress where John the Baptist was imprisoned and beheaded. Drive though the Mujeb canyon (Arnon river bed) to the Crusader castle and later Saladine Fortress in Kerak. Continue to visit Shobak castle another Crusader Fortress. Drive to Petra (360 km), check-in your hotel dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Petra
Full day visit of the ancient city of the Nabatians. Start from the visitor's center riding your horses to the Dam, dismount and continue on foot all the way through the Siq a long narrow gorge to the Treasury, the Theater, the Court, and the Roman Columns in the Basin. Walk up 1000 steps to the Monastery. Return to the visitor's center, to your hotel and overnight. Includes: (B).
Day 5: Petra - Wadi Rum (120 km)
Drive to Wadi Rum. (120km) to your desert camp at Disi. Bait Ali or similar. Check in your private tent. Optional: Enjoy 2 hours by 4 WD ride to visit Lawrence well, the Nabatian Tombs, drawing on the wall, and other sites of natural significance. Buffet dinner, with light music under the stars. Overnight accommodation at the camp. The Camp: Is fully equipped, clean sharing toilettes and showers. The furniture: fully furnished beds, sheets, pillows and towels. Includes: (B).
Day 6: Wadi Rum - Aqaba (80 km)
After breakfast drive to Aqaba (80km) check in your hotel, all day free and overnight. Optional: Snorkeling or diving at the diving centers, the driver will assist you in choosing.
Day 7: Aqaba - Dead Sea (260 km)
After breakfast leave your hotel and drive to the Dead Sea (260km). Optional: Pamper yourself at the health center for facial or body mud wrap and massage. Experience floating on the soothing waters, dinner and overnight.
Day 8: Dead Sea - Qaia (70 km)
Breakfast at the hotel. Check out. Transfer to Qaia (70 km) for departure.
Entry fees and horse ride are per person. Local guides and jeep ride are for both.
